The 4/10 rating is intersting, I'd like to know the basis behind it. I dread to imagine what Rubens would get this season on that scale.

I had thought that Ferrari would be less stringent in thier approach to Massa and the team concept, but things seem as bad as ever. My advice to Filipe: once you get the lead, don't turn back and whatever you do, turn off that radio. Explain later.

he's been under contract with Ferrari for some time now .. 4 years or so .. so Ferrari is present and future for him most likely . one way or another

8/10 for me . the first time he beats Alonso will bring him the 10/10

Don't provoke him, that's a "Mark Webber deserves it" thing.

Mark Webber has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
no prob Boots and clan I'll give you my reasons.
Massa is in a Ferrari a car that is a top running car in possibly the best team if not second
so far Massa has shown speed yes but he always has had speed (so nothing new there) but..... he is faster backwards into a turn than any driver on the grid and his shown this since entering F1 and still displays today .

Massa should be challanging for the podium every race if not the win he is in the car to do so if you put Mark , Ralf , Jenson ,Kimmi, JV, just to name a few they would be , Massa on the other is not
as for 2006
Bahrain Q,2 Fin 9th and near took Alonso in a silly at best move
Sepang Q21, fin 5th great race no doubt
Aus Q15th fin DNF from a silly effot with Nico and trulli
Imola Q4th fin 4th nothing to write home about (but it is a Ferrari home track so not that great )
Nur Q3, fin 3rd podium yes but no improvement
Spain Q4, fin 4th tough race for sure but no improvement

so while Massa is fast which we all agree its the moments which he tends to show and more times than others which brings me to my number his car is expected to fill the podium every time so even if he did and he has not I would give a 5/10 (he has done his job ) in a normal manner but he has not and made errors on the way so 4/10 stays for me

Good logic, Mark Webber. I agree with all your points. But to think of he's wasting seat is a bit harsh.
I hope you have the same logic with all drivers.

Thats just BS and you know it. Lets hear your critique on other drivers then. Do any of them get more than a passing grade after Alonso? I think not!

Now I know who you really are Mark Webber! You are that math teacher I had 20 years ago who made fail everyone taking his course. It's your fault if I never made it to university. (a smiley pointing an accusatory finger would have been more appropriate here but we have to do with what we have. BTW, when will I get my award for the best user of smileys at 10/10th)

its not BS as you would say its my opinion
I'm not going to score any driver with exception on Alonso a 6.5/10 for less than half a season if I did that would lessen a mark at end of year

some would get a pass grade yes because you have to look at the whole picture the car, the effot, the hype(so to speak) ,the talent

so is not BS as I say its MY OPINION and while I mite be hard I'm fair

These guys are the among the most talented drivers in the world. With a few exceptions they are much better than you give them credit for, even on a bad day. By your standards Rubens, JPM & Fisi would be in the negative category to date.... ie < 0 ... and thats just simply what I call cynical.

Ok guys, enough before we get it out of control.

Everyone is entitled to his opinion, BUT this is a públic forum, so we must respect the others, and that includes anyone, drivers, teams and all.

So please, calm down.

At the start of the season poor old Massa was top of most people's 'will be humiliated by his team mate' list. Has he?
I don't think so, he's leading B Button in the championship and we all know how good he is!!!
Felipe has done a solid job so far in his first job with a top team. So he spun!
'The man who never made a mistake, never made anything' and he was holding the current world champ at the time. You must not let personal bias influence your balanced judgement.

By the way the humiliation question has been resolved and the victim is an ex Ferrari driver from Brazil!

He is doing a good enough job at the moment, I don't think Ferrari made a mistake taking him onboard.

Thing is, to choose between him and Kimi/TGF. That would not be difficult.

But if he gets the boot, I hope he finds a good seat.
