I think he prefers vodka! Mind you, I hear that Mika has been seen to down a few of those, too... Maybe it's a Finnish thing.

kmsport has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Yes, Wodka is almost as natural to Finns as it is to those from Russia. It has amazing warming qualities, the higher in quality it gets! Ahahaha!
But, I wondered to myself today, if Mikka did make a comeback - he would be 38 ish...? Right? How old was Nige when he made his post Ayrton comeback? He won races.
Personally, I feel it may be a refreshing injection that could be "re" introduced into the almost, currently, "clinical" system one may find F1 to have become.

But he'd be running a test session for Mclaren this month, from what i hear!

I sure look forward to see him back, even if it's for one session.

Mansell was 41 when he returned to Williams to do a couple of races for Williams, although the differenences between Hakkinen and Mansell is that Mansell had only been out of F1 for 18 months, plus had been racing Indy Cars. Also, I wouldn't have said that Mansell's performances when he did return were that sparkling. In a way, I'm sort of glad that Hakkinen hasn't made a comeback - at least it allows for his accomplishments to be untarnished by potentially lack lustre performances and he can say that he left F1 at the peak of his abilities, which can't be a bad thing.

I don't think age is as big as deal as many want to make it out to be, especially if you are fit and motivated. I could see Mika being involved this year testing which would make some sense. He has a lot of experience and it's a great way to drive an F1 car without all the hassle with endless travel and other pressures.

Interesting. It reminds me of the setup McLaren had in 1995/96 before Prost ran off and bought Ligier....

It might make a lot of sense to Mika to do some testing. a) Ron trusts him and it would be a great foil to Hamilton's inexperience to have 2 WDC's around the place while bringing the youngster on. b) Hakk is a renoun car killer, if you're trying to test a car for reliability, if it can stand up to the Hakk, it'll pretty much stand up to anybody.

Bononi's probably right though. A heck of a lot of stuff and nonsense gets spouted this time of year.

I think Mika's quite brave. He could end up looking a bit daft, but he's definitely taking it very seriously.

As an aside, looking at the times from the first two days of testing, it looks as though the new Bridgestones might just suit the McLaren rather well straightaway; more so than the Renault...

It's not for fun, that's for sure. The problem is the press and the readers, this is for fun.

Don't go giving Fisi excuses to use.

It's perhaps just a tad early to be making any sort of predictions.

I can't believe that !

although mika looked a little cramped in the cockpit and appeared to sit a little higher than he used to.

It was nice to see that familier helmet back in a McLaren though
