Yup, when you had every series running a car in Gulf or at least the colors it hit old very very quickly

This gentleman brought his classic out in the rain and mid 30s (5C) this morning

Spotted this at Brands Hatch on Saturday - looked distinctly out of place parked up in the rally service area.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Two-tone paint looks great on old cars and terrible on modern.

Had to decipher this one, not because I didn't understand what the license plate said, but because I don't understand why a JJ fan will be driving in Altima.

One of these things is freaking awesome! Hints are it's blue and could drive through a wall with little damage

Everything that guy said. Not sure that gen Range Rover wants to start that war, at least not with the US models. They have appreciated like milk in the sun while the older ones have held value. And not just scarcity driven, the engines and electronics ain't great

It makes sense. Range Rover still want to be the no 1 off road vehicle, at least in this country. I don't think there's much wrong with the new version. A few minor faults

It was wildly out of place - but that just made it so much cooler. It was very tidy, not my usual sort of thing but I quite like that one.

Dentside Brocos are extremely rare. I haven't seen one in person in decades. Very cool.

The Brocos seem to be going out of fashion, but that happens with most old vehicles, unless they are that iconic

I'm not sure it's "going out of fashion" so much as "rotting, becoming mechanically unsound, beyond economical repair", "replaced by something newer" etc. etc.

Once they get past a certain age they start to become cool (maybe for the first time). At that point the owners also change from regular people to enthusiasts - and then the time, effort and money spent on them goes up again. I might not like all of the weird old cars people have kept going but I certainly have respect for them and can appreciate their efforts.

Yeah, that time for American sheet metal and paint was not great. Most of that era 150/250s I see are a painters palette or respray and not original colors even. I know of a couple Broncos of that vintage but all parked and rotting away sadly. A few of the 250 Rangers are around and looking good with period correct tires even but most of my work area is what you would call wealthy with all the toys

And the Bronco is so forgotten they spent s shedload of money making not one but 2 new ones so.......

Cranes!! Hard to read but I assume the truck is a roofing company? They have to lift all sorts of stuff to the roof....
