You do get the impression that ACO are controlling BoP to command ticket sales, it does seem to be rather obvious at times.

The WEC app is getting better. I find it much more usable than it used to be and it's good they have added ELMS and LM Cup video etc.

The website stopped between lap 89 and 120ish, but the app seemed to be OK in that period.

No Vettel but Jaminet/Nasr/Tandy are a great lineup. Hopefully the car doesn't implode after a few hours this year Same for Palou. Thanks for the info, I totally forgot Blomqvist is racing in IndyCar as well |

In my opinion if they want to humanise the sport more they should have more footwell pedal cams and onboard videos from “over the shoulder” of the driver as so many of the onboard cams for WEC are just straight ahead of the windscreen with no instruments or driver visible. I like seeing drivers hacksawing away on the wheel etc from my onboards

Toyota still hoping for power gain introduction as soon as possible. But I fear they (the ACO) won't experiment at Le Mans without trying this feature even once. |

V8 I am sorry to tell you chap the ACO tv team are far more interested in showing pit shots than on track action.
You wait, it gets worse if there is battling, it really is woeful coverage. All it takes is someone new to direct and produce, this current lot seem to want to make a tv show, not show a sports event. Appalling |

WEC 2024 has become the closest thing to a perfect sportscar racing series. The grids, the class structure, the FCY procedures, the TV and media coverage, and the race steward decisions making. Just awesome stuff. Nitpicking, the only thing I would have liked to see is a way to make space for Audi and Mercedes GT3 efforts.
