The only info I could find on here was from several years ago now.

Does anyone have information about the standards required for pitlane? All I've been told is it should be plain coloured with no advertising logos. Do the ACO require 2 or 3 layer nomex these days? Or will a single layer suit be sufficient?

No write it in english only, the french cameramen are more likely to zoom to those signs when they don't understand the message... or in other words, don't want to understand

Work will end at 12.30 tomorrow . Making the Car ready , a few Hours of Sleep and at 9 in the evening the Trip started . Wishing everybody a good Trip to Le Mans !!

Thought there was a seperate thread for the bands playing in 2012 (Shaka Ponk, don't you just love them???) but can't seem to find it?
So here goes, apart from the french bands nobody has ever heard of,
a few additions have been made:
Julian Peretta, Razorlight, BB King, UB 40, Status Quo, Raphael
Some of which seem to have liked the previous gigs they did because they will return this year. For UB40 the reason is pretty obvious of course, they'll play everywhere. Can't be picky when you're flat broke!

I saw the post re the new bands playing but suspect that it might not be correct I think some translation problems with bands playing and bands that have played there

I am afraid you're right.

Addition: Actually it's a good thing that those rather sucky french bands are playing, and not BB King or Status Quo, so there will be no distraction from the import stuff!

It would have been nice to have at least one well known english band on for say Wednesday or thursday between the practice's
