So not in the spirit of the thread but I did "spot" this pic while searching my old photos for a picture of a Bronco. This is my late high school and my brother's early college 87 Toyota pickup in front of the truck we learned to drive in which was my dad's "home work" truck (he walked to work in an office for the most part). Mind the flags. That was actually our state flag at the time. And those are "European style" high pitched air horns on the roof of the 71 Suburban. And yes, we wired it to a home electrical light switch.

Mum gave it to me and a cheque for £15 to go towards gas. Drove to the bank to pay it in and got a parking ticket for £15. Grrr. |

Perhaps this is common and I'm just unaware, but this guy at the apartments nextdoor has a FedEx truck he drives home every night. This seems strange to me because of the general business model of FedEx. Don't they load up trucks with packages that the driver then delivers and returns the truck for more packages? Bringing a truck home seems to break that continuum.

I’m surprised they let him drive the branded truck home whatever.

Australian GTO, of an age that is young enough that you might see driving round in a barely road worth condition. This one looked loved.

Oh wait.... I went to confirm my values on them, and found a (very) low mileage 2005 one for $220,000. Which is not as crazy as someone who bought a Limited Edition HSV GTSR W1 Maloo Ute for over $1 million https://www.drive.com.au/news/hsv-gt...lian-made-car/ |

I half figured that the truck was stolen and this guy just decided the best way to blend in is to leave it branded. Nobody would look twice at a delivery truck. |

Is it possible that, similar to many parcel/courier companies here in the UK, that the driver is a sub-contractor to Fedex, and that the van actually belongs to him/her? And Fedex stipulate that the van must carry their logos?

Most FedEx trucks are operated by a local arm rather than corporate and all of the green FedEx branding are local owned.
I'm thinking that's more lazy turnover and a sold truck, they just didn't strip it. Lots of UHauls running around as lawn and work trucks not rentals |

I have sympathy for that.
Will it get there again this year? |

A couple of cars spotted whilst out and about at the local shopping strip
The MG hasnt come up too well in the photo for some reason.... it was absolutely immaculate, no blotches on the bonnet as in my pic. The 2 door coupe I couldnt work out what it is. Pretty car whatever it is. And in great nick Edit: Maybe a '64-ish Mercury Comet? They were parked a couple of spaces apart and both on club permit plates so maybe there was a club meeting somewhere local The first pic is self explanatory in terms of the business name!
