And you don't think there are some vitriolic keyboard warriors who just spit out poison and bile? As Betty noted, it is only a small minority to whom she is referring to. Wonder who the fringe personalities are, maybe an Australian telco mogul residing in the United States is one?

I'm guessing that despite the hyperbole, that the AA story doesn't actually get to the bottom of what really went down over the summer?

It’s an exclusive.. to say everything is confidential..

Well Mrs Klimenko slings off at Mr Brown for wanting to leave, and seems to suggest a former major sponsor was somehow vindictive by inviting a former member of the Erebus management team into a new role with them.

Took quite a few pages to say not very much

So basically what you would expect. If Roland Dane, Ryan Walkinshaw or any of the other more vocal team owners were dealing with the same issues, we would get similar responses, deflecting rather than taking ownership of problems that occurred on their watch.

Perkins to race in Janson retro colours

Former Erebus sponsors Shaw & Partners and Southern Cross Truck Rentals to return with former #9 co-driver Jack Perkins in Blanchard Racing Team's Super 2 entry. One of the best retro liveries to grace a Supercar IMHO.

Looks great, as did the Castrol retro last year

What looks stupid is the fact it’s got a big #19 on the bonnet and doors but races as #79…..as ridiculous as last year having #11 on the doors and bonnet but racing as #70……

Winston Churchill was great in wartime but nobody could stand him when the war ended.

Barry is an anachronism, he was brought into the sport by hard as nails old schoolers whose behaviour is no longer acceptable. He needs to just move aside or Erebus is going to end up handing in its RECs and told in bits.

Amusingly it's not that different to how they entered the sport, with drivers and other people leaving becsuse of broken promises.

The "soft" teams have a full complement of satisfied sponsors...

Erebus? Not so much.

BJR serves Pizza Hut well even if the car is towards the back, Erebus did not service Boost Mobile, Shaw & Partners, SCTR or Coca-Cola well and they got the heck out of there...

Now 888 Race Engineering has that ownership, while Erebus Motorsport misses out on it!

Erebus Motorsport could have done nicely with that investment to consolidate its position as a leading Australian motorsport engineering business, but now misses out on it.

I am not having a go at you for what you wrote, but asking him to step down because he hurt someones feelings, come on, that is one of the major issues with the 'newer' generation', it is all about their feelings. Harden the **** up, you are playing in the big league now, no place for pussies

Do you reckon, Brock, Moffat, Johnson, etc got to the top by giving a **** about peoples feelings? Or people like Morris, Skaife, Ingall, Murphy, Ambrose gave a **** about peoples feelings

Exactly, plenty of us I'm sure have had to deal with r sole bosses over the journey, it is just a fact of life. Sometimes drivers just need to accept they are employees, stop behaving like prima donnas, and do what they are told.

For the quick.. take a squiz at the Erebus socials for a video about the weekend..

They have a great videographer this year..
And have melded great footage with a series of reconstructed (with new ‘odd’ poster names) social media posts about them, including one from Mr Pye, suggesting the garage looked tired…

Whether it's Barry or Betty at the top, Erebus is rotting from the head.

Whatever sycophants remain and are toeing the line, it isn't going to get better.

They absolutely peaked last year and I doubt they will ever again win a championship.

First year of new reg always throws up a roughie.
