Hi folks

Duff. Excellent! Shape-wise, it's one of your best so far. But there's very little in the way of overtaking opportunities. Methinks reversing the direction to ACW would make a BIG difference to overtaking. Other than that, pretty damn nice

TR. Another nice track. Geez, do we ever come up with a bad one on this thread? Very interesting and unique shape, and loadsa variety in the corners. I prefer the original to your edits though, Tinik. Sorry

Anyways, finally I've got round to posting another track. Seems quite a long time since I posted my last

Mangaweka, New Zealand

P.S. Check how I managed to get the lines from the page scanned in so that they are exactly horizontal. I'm pretty proud of that!

I like it, but it would be better for club racing than F1...

Cheers Tinik

Didn't really intend it to be for F1, maybe national and international races like MotoGP, ChampCar, Oz V8s. Hopefully it'd replace that horribly shaped and aply named Puke as NZ's premier circuit.

Pukekohe: one of the most simple and best circuits on the calendar. It has long straight, slow corners and fast corners. It looks like its so challenging for the drivers, and just look at how simple its design it...(its clockwise btw)

Image from Racing Circuits.net

V8's are going there in three weeks...can't wait!!!...

Richard, Pukekohe's brilliant!
Don't forget it's 2.2 miles long, which makes that last corner much faster than anything in F1 today...

I stand corrected!

Just didn't like the shape of the layout, that's all, so I admit I aint an expert on the track. I kept hearing about Oz V8 races where there are always loads of wrecks, maybe that's just from the close racing it provides

I have a VERY long track coming up tomorrow which I've been fine tuning for a while, it ended up quite a shock to me in its finished state! Quite crazy....

And I've got about 3 tracks based on real life roads, one over 12 miles, and the others 2 over 100....

Wouldn't have a clue how long mine is, when it comes to distances I leave that to someone else! So all I can say is its very long. Maybe someone could hazard a guess at how long it would be when I post it tomorrow

I have just scanned three tracks I have hand drawn onto my computer. The first track, according to my count has seven, yes seven (7), configurations (there could be more, but I can't find them). The second track looks very similar to the old Hockenheimnring, but it contains an "infeild" section and a redone stadium section. I guess these changes might make the Hockenheimring 5 or 6 miles long. The third track is just your average track with a short circuit variant. I don't have distances for the tracks, so base your opinions on what is given. BTW, all track run clockwise.

Here is the first track (the one with the seven configurations):

Here is my track, the very long one. Any guesses at how long it is (remember I’m useless with distances)

Stop that massacering!

Duff, GREAT!. Very Nordschleif'ish. But it's a bit esses on esses on esses on esses .

And you wont get permission nor space to build that anywhere! .

Or perhaps, i've got some land available out here .

Thx Crozier .
