N I Tram should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
A shame Dan could be out in the cold, but otherwise some promising deals emerging.

Unless they want to take a gamble and have an occassional guest driver or if at the end of the season, the championship hasn't been decided, they may start bringing in drivers and using that 3rd veh?

That's an unusually good thing to hear! Usually, it seems teams want an arm and a leg for their used cars. Sometimes, it seems like they wanna recover their last year's budget through selling the car?

Perhaps they're still hoping for that indecent proposal to appear!

I had heard about this one earlier in the week, I still think that he will end up at WSR.

Does it lok likley to all of you that Dan Eves and Luke Hynes will be fighting for the same seats. So I'm guessing that one or other wont make the grid this year.

With WSR quoted as having a shortlist of 6 for their 2/3 seats the merrygoround looks like it will throw off a few good drivers.

To Dan & Luke you can add James Pickford and possibly Rob Collard who will be left without a competitive drive this year.

I would like to see WSR keep Collard and take back Turkington. No disrespect to the others mentioned but both Collard and Turkington have had experience with the MG.

It will be a shame for Dan Eaves if he doesn't get a drive with someone, he did have a good season last year.

Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Collard would not be a good choice IMO.

I assume if Dan Eaves had the money he'd still be at Team Dynamics, so if WSR are looking for money (I don't know if they are) you'd assume he'd be out of the question too.

So we should expect Stuart Hall to be announced as TDs third driver?

What if TD only run 2 cars? I wouldn't expect them to gamble on running a BTCC-rookie as Neal's only team-mate.

Also, with Marsh's involvement, we now have 19 cars confirmed (with some drivers still TBA). And that's without counting Synchro, DW, Xero and a 3rd WSR MG!

Ah yes, Spencer Marsh - used to run in the (legendary) Anadin-liveried Honda Accord, was it 2002? He was quite handy as I remember, finished well in the BTC-P championship.

And also, whatever happened to Beacon Motorsport, they were meant to re-enter BTCC in the top class, like so many teams say...

Legendary?! :S

Spencer did just the one season in BTC-P after a decent couple (?) of years in the old Lotus series. Chris Boon ran a pretty good little team in Beacon and it was a shame he shut up shop after just the one season.

Chris managed Spencer in the first season of SEAT's, then the money dried up and that was that.
