11pm and Cooper McNeil already done for the race. Let the pros bring it home

Man, the 59 has had some bad electrical luck. Did McLaren use Lucas parts to be extra English?

I'm not exactly a big fan of driver ratings. ANY driver in ANY race can be an idiot. Seen it lots.

Was that a short stint for Ricky Taylor?

Right, time for bed. Gone a bit yellowy and tedious on commentary too.

I’ll wake up earlier and hopefully back to racing and people taking about racing.

Night all.

Nobody left posting, but P2 #20 leading driver Fabio Scherer is nominated for idiot of the race.

Overshot (UNDERstatement) turn 1, smacked barriers, and drove all the way to the pits bouncing on bent rims and broken suspension shedding parts ALL the way. The lap took 6:11. FCY @ 0009 EST. Can't guess cleanup time...

12 Hours, 364 laps, 7 DPi within 5.069 seconds. Does it get any better than this?

edit adds:

Weather channel sez 36 F @ airport. Westbrook set car 5 FL 1:34.432..., forget that.

SeaBass sets race FL 374 @ 1:33.941! Just how low is the perfect temp?

JJ back in car 48. Don't look for FL here...

Damaged #48. JJ at wheel.

#15 Mercedes was involved, not sure who caused what.
Also spun it trying to get back to pits at the LeMans chicane.

Good morning. It looks like #48 has been hitting trouble, as it was leading quite nicely 8h ago?

Nice to see #31 being up there still!
