Surely you couldn't run a Mustang and a ZB?
At least if Charlie bought Tekno he'd have some up to date suspension components :P |

Mixer - time to take a break?
Maybe wonder what the DJ is up to next? |

Dare say if Charlie and his crew swap to back to Ford, can only really see them having a partnership with Tickford. As evidenced by Jnr Johnson and a few people from the DJR part of DJR Team Penske, there's still too much bad blood

I was wondering whether there was bad blood between Burgess to Charlie, but I guess a lot can be forgotten for the right opportunity. |

And where does anyone get the idea Team18 is switching to Ford? |

But IMO, dare say this is a form of blackmail to get a plum deal to stay with Tickford since Team 18 has had horrible luck and is one of the if not the worst performing Triple Eight customer car of recent times. |

Would Charlie fall for it after the Courney/Pepsi/PRA deal?

It seems Holdsworth is not gonna be in #18 next year by his comments here:
https://www.speedcafe.com/2018/10/06...eams-for-2019/ Will anybody else take him on? |

He is basically parked next door to Preston Hire Racing pit bay. To be honest every jacket had been in that pit bay this weekend not just a yellow one

Ford are looking to offload a few GT4 Mustangs here locally.

How happy would MSR & the Hazelwood team be at having agreed to take delivery of the 2018 Bathurst winning Lowndes ZB at Newcastle.....??
Resale value just improved out of sight! |

As a Bathurst winner it is certainly valuable to collectors, far in excess of it's value to a Super2 team. Let's hope it doesn't get in any major shunts and can be easily restored to Autobarn bathurst winning condition. Having converted the 2017 winner to a ZB Commodore, it will be a lot of work to strip the de Pasquele down to a bare shell and reinstall the VF-spec metal rear firewall and so on.... I wonder why Erebus didn't build up a brand new pile of tubes and sheet metal for AdP to race, and auction off the winner to a collector? [Likewise, walkinshaw performance inexplicably converted the double champion and double Bathurst winner "golden child" to a project blueprint VY... A lot of unnecessary work to put it back to VX specification. IIRC, Team Dynamik may have also hacked up the 1999 Bathust winner (& 2000 Super2 series winner in their hands) to create a Team Dynamik project blueprint VY Commodore.] To the contrary, Garry Rogers knows how to do it. 2000 Bathurst winner parked and preserved in race winning condition to this day! That's how it is done! |

Dare say Mr. Lowndes might put a bid on that chassis.

Regardless, your James Phelps style, lets try to make something out of nothing garbage still doesn't cut it, when it plainly says, and I'll quote Roland here from that article - "Unfortunately he's going to Europe next year at some stage for personal reasons". PERSONAL REASONS. There's no back story, no smoke and mirrors, no back stabbing, no ones' bent out of shape with someone else, he's leaving for personal reasons. Why do people have to try to read something into nothing and make everything a drama? Haven't you ever heard of anyone deciding they want to move on from their current employment of their own free choice? New flash, it happens all the time, people decide they want to try something else, live somewhere else, or whatever, and off they go. No malice, no drama. Unlike this forum........ |

So what happens when a REC is handed back to supercars? Does the owner receive any money back or is it a complete write-off of the original investment? |
