I don,t recognise the registration , but a lot of people bought their own numbers .
I would say that most of the cars were bought for road use , and people would say that they loved driving them , but had to always allow extra time on the road as everybody would want look at he cars and talk about them .

Splish, Splash, I was taking a bath... Love them Peter, pictures in wet conditions make for great viewing, akes your realse why 'Motor Racing is Dangerous' as it says on the back of the ticket.

The animals went in two by two. Another entertaining set I do like the Healeys shot, makes me remember when I could wield a camera trackside.

Goes back to something I commented on previously. When I first watched an HSCC meeting the cars were between 14 and 25 years old, ( Lotus 33s, Lister Knobbly etc.) Ergo, GT3s and their accoutrements are historic.

Nice snaps Peter . . . . It's an odd one isn't it . . . . My first Cortina Mk1 was old when I was 18 . . . 24 years old . . . . My race car I've owned almost that long and its now nearly 70!

Somewhat unusuaual for the UK..... looking at the last 3 sets of photos added and not one image with any signs of moisture. In fact every photo has a least an indication of a shadow, and even hints of blue skies. Said as I wake up in Spain to a rainstorm, albeit unexpected with a mainly clear fine and rain free forecast.

Te Birkett is held at the end of October so fairly lucky to be dry. Are going to manage to get to the top of the rock at Calpe this year?
