Leaving Tuesday evenin' round 11, hope to arrive at the campsite in the early Wednesday morning. Then set up the beginnings of our camp, followed shortly by some well deserved sleep. Wake up again, do the groceries, lite BBQ, enjoy nice beverage (or two ), be at the track before six.
Sooooo looking forward ! |

Kind of interesting as the test car was supposed to be destroyed, perhaps they glued it together for shows |

Arrived safely here in Paris - actually out in Roissy Pole at a nice apartment/hotel. Just got my internet up and working. Spoke with Walter a short time ago and we're supposed to speak again later tonight. I spend the next two days sight seeing in Paris before heading to my hotel in Tours and then catching up with you guys at the track on Friday and of course for the race. Le Mans week is finally here.

yeah, but I have forgotten the cable to upload them the lap top, so they are stuck on my memory card. I am pretty sure this one is only for showing.

Last year Ant Davidson was made to Cycle to LeMans by the Peugoet team boss as he was a big Tour de France Fan...as is Stephane Sarrazin who Ant nick named 'Turbo-Legs' as he lead the 'Peloton' of 10 team riders at a great pace from Chartres to the Circuit!
This year Ant has driven there in his Toyota Company car...but his elder Brother Andy is Cycling there this year...Not from Chartres...But from London!!!! So look out for him on the way and give him and his two mates a wide berth please! Last year Andy and his mates spectated where McNish stacked it... and was in the crowd in all the photos of that spectacular shunt! My claim to fame was in 1969 there when a picture of me and my mates appeared in the American Magazine 'Car & Driver' with the caption...'What French Fans wear at LeMans' Hilarious! I havn't been since 2009...but I now prefer to sit up all night following it on TV and on the Lap Top, and recieving texts from my sons there, far more comfortable! |

The ACO may be a little disappointed with today's attendance figures at the circuit.........
