Where the actual gaps between cars? One lap behind doesn't tell you if it close enough to get its lap back.

I've been paying a lot of attention to the #15 Charouz Racing entry. Which I think would be a good combination for the ALMS. A lola chassis with a 5.5 litre Judd v-10. Probibly would not be a serious challenge to the Audi's in a head-to-head match. But still quick enough and reliable enough to pick up a 2nd if one of the Audi's stumbles, if not a consistent 3rd place finisher in class. And affordable, which the Audi is not. Even if you can get your hands on one.

Actually it could........for example, Speedtv could've never interrupted the program in the first place!!
O well it's good to catch up on the chronos every once in a while..especially at night when speed has such poopy coverage. |

Another cool story:
Quotes from the Peugeot Press materials Taken from the Peugeot Press release: Michel Barge, Director, Peugeot Sport: "The two Audis are clearly capable of running in practice trim. We have never concealed the fact that we have not yet had the opportunity to prove that level of reliability. During the early part of the race, we let the drivers manage the rain and safety car situations. Then we had a problem with the No.8 car which forced them to drop back, but the No.7 is running well. Anything can still happen and we have a great deal to learn." Stephane Sarrazin: "That was quite a long run but I feel fine. We had a few problems at the rear early in my stint, and we had to change a few parts. The car ran far better afterwards and I hope it will be reliable now." Jacques Villeneuve: "We're doing triple stints to see how it helps us. I hit something with the front of the car on the straight, but after the front end change the car was much better. It's tough out there but I feel much more confident with the track." |

speed tv coverage dosnt sound that bad at least you get 17 hours of live coverage, i agree it does suck that you dont get all 24 but alot of people are lucky to see 1 hour (sheer madness if you ask me! all endurance races should be shown live and in their entierty)
how good does that bms aston martin look with the flames shooting out the exhuast |

Anybody see how bad the 85 looked coming into the pits? RLM was saying full front end replacement would be necessary

Who's this Nielsen dropkick in the Autorlando Porsche?
Simonsen was doing really well, leading the class until he hands (I say hands, becuse it keeps happening) the car over to the turkey who seems to keep himself amused by watching ferraris go past. Grr. |
