I'm not quite as excited about this game as I was before seeing the mess Motorsport Games made of NASCAR 21.

It was said recently by someone in a Q+A session (don’t remember who, but someone in the BTCC), that the game will be coming out towards the back end of 2022. Personally, I am really looking forward to it, more so than any other video game ever released! Hopefully it will be available for PS4, otherwise I will have to buy a PS5. The main things I am hoping for in the game are:
Accurate physics for both FWD and RWD cars, so a player can become a specialist at one or the other. The full BTCC format including three races, with the grids decided as they are in real life (and qualifying). Also the new boost reduction system needs to be included. The AI must be as realistic as the ones in F1 at least. Overall, I mainly want it to be realistic enough for me to call it simracing, rather than gaming On an unrelated note, does anyone know what day the TBL list is announced? It would be awesome to see Triple Eight on the list! |

"Mess". That's by far the kindest description I've heard for this particular electronic debacle! Now where's my Commodore 64 tape of Richard Petty's Talladega...

That adds up well. He's ambitious and not afraid to put his money where his mouth is. Good on the lad if it is indeed a thing.

Wow you must be the first person I've ever heard mention that game since I used to play it (although not on a C64). I just remember being really disappointed at the plain graphics compared to the cassette cover art and also something about the car changing colour to indicate slipstreaming, didn't it turn blue?

Do we really think Boardley would pay for a WSR seat? Given that Moffat finished ahead of all the BMWs bar Turkington I can't see him getting any better results.

For 2021, he went into the season with 2 TBLs and a seat in the title-winning car. If he wants a long stint in BTCC, why sell his entry tickets for 1 season in a BMW? It seems a bit like a football fan selling a season ticket for front row seats in return for a 1-match ticket a few seats over? |

Regarding the potential situation with Boardley's TBLs, and other pieces of the jigsaw.
The most likely situation I see is (pure speculation): 3-car Laser Tools / Parker Racing entry. 2x TBLs from Boardley, 1x TBL from Moffat. 3x Infiniti from Moffat. Moffat, Boardley and Cammish as drivers. |

I don't think we will see Boardley back - he has given it a shot in some great machinery and things haven't worked for him. He is sitting on a good amount of £££ through the TBLs.
I thought there was mention from the commentators that Carl was looking/thinking about leaving too. |

All I want from a BTCC game is an updated version of the old PS1 Codemasters game, with an online racing option and up to date graphics. Anyway, back on topic... err.... |
