Now what?! A street race in Santa Fe? Well, don't really think that WTCC will drop 2 European events in 2016 already |

Acoording to Campeones, Girolami has 2 options for 2016 - Lada (no surprise here) and... replace Tarquini at Honda.

I thougt he could be the second (first) Nika driver (with factory support), and Michelisz could be the factory driver in Honda. Honda vs Lada. The Veste Sedan with Oreca suport might be a better choice then the hatchback Civic. Last edited by Tarzaan; 12 Jul 2015 at 17:10. |

I hope to see 3 factory cars from Honda - Michelisz, Monteiro, Girolami line-up would be great. However I agree that the Lada package has much more potential next year

Imho San Louis - the track where was some FIA GT rounds - would be a better choice. |

As for Lada line-up - Huff, Catsburg, Lapierre would do great http://wtccblog.com/2015/07/lapierre...er-in-testing/ |

Why Catsburg over Van Lagen? They're equal in speed yet Van Lagen makes less mistakes.

Interesting article from Motorsport.com (based itself on the article from L'Equipe newspaper) - another interview with Ribeiro, where he says he will try to keep Citroen in the championship.
http://ru.motorsport.com/wtcc/news/b...erzhat-citroen What is interesting here, is that he is planning to add a second race in China from 2017, on a new circuit in Wuhan. Another thing is that in the coming days we may hear about the arrival of a new manufacturer (!) (though those are not Ribeiro's words directly), indicating that it may be Volvo (adding to what Ben Constanduros was already saying during the weekend). Hope very much that it is true |

If Honda wants to win, before changing car, they better change team. If you done with problem number one, problem number two needs meddling.

Honda needs to open their wallets and get a top driver. like Muller or Pechito. Monteiro and Tarquini are not good enough. keep Norbi at Zengo, it's good for Hungary.

Citroen still has an almost untouched lead in WTCC despite not using up any of their 2015 jokers. They do not plan to introduce any major upgrade this year.

Team Dynamics who run Hondas BTCC program on a much smaller budget should be given a crack at WTCC with Honda... They have been very loyal to the brand and developed the S2000 & BTCC cars at there own cost before Honda became involved in 2010. The Dynamics built cars have done very well in BTCC,STCC an Asian TC against teams with far bigger budgets. |

Although I am not impressed by JAS I don't think switching to Dynamics would make much difference. For example they have no international experience.

And why would that be relevant? Team Dynamics are quite clearly one of the very top touring car outfits, capable of running at the front in any series. You don't beat 888 and WSR otherwise.

Racing in Britain means that on Monday the cars are back at the workshop.
That's not what happens when you jump from Slovakia to Austria back-to-back, much less when you travel from Japan to China. |
