Lord X should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I would suggest they were. He was just better than his team-mate but then not quite able to rise to the challenge when he got his drives at VX and SEAT.

It's not as if the Barwell team-mate he beat that year (Alan Blencowe) was a driver of any real talent, so I think the 2003 season was probably kosher.

2003 definately flattered to deceive. Bentwood and Boardman should have been much closer to the title but for car problems. Other than that there was no real opposition to speak of.

2004/05 is probably a more accurate reflection of Hines' ability. I fairness to him you'd be hard pressed to stand out as number 3 at VX and at SEAT the team was obviously built around Plato, but he really did little of any note. No reason he should have been fighting over 10th place with his rookie teammate, which is what seemed to happen most weekends.

E46 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
www.sportmotores.com reports that Jason Plato was testing with SEAT at Estoril, his times were at least two or three seconds faster than ETCC 2003 pole position.

Still think they could do with Reid! I notice the 3rd car is still a possibility.

So where does Dan Eaves go now if the 3rd seat doesn't materalise at WSR?

On the long list of unemployed drivers, like

James Pickford
Ian Curley
Dan Buxton
Gareth Howell
Gavin Pyper
Paul O'Neill
Anthony Reid
Alan Morrison
Stefan Hodgetts

and many more...

Good news for Turkingtonand Collard, i can see them working well together this season. Would have been good to see Reid back this season, he's been a good character to have since he started back in 1997.

I wonder if they will get a 3rd car out this season and if they do who will get the drive??

Did anyone honestly think Reid would get a drive again, when we know he has no backing?

RAC backing should make it easier for the team to take talented drivers.

I think we all know he has none or little backing, the question for many people was whether WSR had the budget to pick and choose drivers. Which I assume they don't have from who they've signed.

So it's Rob and Colin at WSR, pretty much as expected, remember there is still a chance of a 3rd car for Dan, as for AR I always thought that he was a long shot for the drive. I am very please with news, I do thing that they are going to be right up there all year.

They've basically signed the best 2 funded drivers going, which suggests that they can only run an unfunded driver for a part-season if that. Still a good lineup though.

Dynamics are doing a big reveal at the media day. Rumour is that Shedden has backing from a big name sponsor.

Eaves chances are slim to non-existant. He's got virtually nothing in the way of sponsorship and without a budget he'll struggle to find a seat anywhere.

Wonder who? He's never been one to have an abundance of sponsorship. My bets he's convinced the Scottish Sun to back his drive, like his SEAT in 03/04

He works for Knockhill as a Professional Driving Instructor. I didn't think there was any connection beyond that?
