Inter Europol make me think of United Autosports in a way. A couple of years ago, they were running a JS P3 in ELMS and another one in ELMS, now they run an Oreca 07 in the WEC and in ELMS and JS P320 in ELMS. A dit like United That has developed a lot their activities through the years. Jakub ?miechowski being in Europol what Phil Hanson is with United.

Jack Aitken stepping into sportscars for Racing Team Turkey (TF Sport). You'd assume he'll be rapid. No mention in the presser but I'd imagine they'd try for an LM entry this season. |

Lapierre, Ye, Kruetten is a rather handy line up at Cool Racing.

Hungaroring round to be replaced with Monza.
The given reason was noise issues at the Hungaroring, but the fact it moves the series away from a location which is quite close to an active conflict will be a relieving bonus, I'm sure. |

I don’t think it matters either way. The important thing is they are going to a better circuit, as well as being safer

I quite enjoy seeing prototypes (fail to) handle small tight tracks like Hungaroring, but on facilities Monza surely is the preferred destination.

nah, hungary has reasonably big garages and space around the trucks for decent setup. monza is horrendous for one car teams, particularly p2. the bodywork boys have very limited space to clean and fettle, and the carbon and tyres just have nowhere especially if your truck has pop-outs. worst case scenario at hungary is some teams may need to go downstairs to get lunch at their hospo tent.

we can likely scratch all G-Drive from the Entry List.

I don't think there's a likely about it, it's pretty certain they won't be back this year

I am not so sure about the Pro/Am entry. There are no russian driver and I guess that they can finace the car. ANd as it is G-Drive by APR, it could become APR.

The entries reopening is in some part just to allow them to change the name and nationality on the entry form.

Which they will refuse to do as Rusinov is tied to the Russian government and has refused to condemn the current situation.
Good riddance to bad rubbish. |

Rusinov doesn't own the actual teams. There's probably technically some difference between being entered as G-Drive Racing versus the actual organization that owns and runs the car when it comes to things like auto invites rather than it only being naming rights but that doesn't make much difference here. The most likely scenario is the same cars end up on the grid with a few less Russian sponsors and drivers, and Portugese and Italian instead of Russian flags on them.

I don't really care what the cars are run under - I just don't think Rusinov should be allowed back with his current stance. Good old Daniel Kvyat has also refused to denounce the invasion, so he's also on me "Well he can get tae f**k" list.

Rusinov has already ruled himself and the G-Drive team out regardless of what the ACO/FIA do. In another 12 months, who knows...
