Yep, you’ll be fine. You should be able to pick your spot at that time….

French roads great - they repair them frequently with a rolling repair team meaning they only shut a few km at a time rather than cone and cameras for huge sections and repairs over 2 years!
Return to Calais car ferry not as easy as once was - now in with lorries so turn/bend right at end (three lanes mainly signed for lorries) as cars intermingled with lorries for check in and passports etc and we’ll over a thousand lanes can make it tricky after the drive back. Edit - last month they now separate cars at passports so they can take ages dealing with two long lanes of cars whilst lorries virtually waived through - maybe worth stopping for some food at Carrefour cite Europe before queues at port |

That’s wonderful that you will be returning. I haven’t been nearly as many times as you, but I know since my first visit if I’m not able to return it tears at my soul. I can imagine your excitement in returning! Be sure to come to the meet-up on Saturday!
I’m getting on the airplane this Thursday and know that for myself I can’t think about anything else this week! |

Thank you Atlfalconsfan.
I am ridiculously excited it's true. A quick question for some of you that have been more recently than me.... Are they checking bags on entry to the circuit these days? Last time I was there they were restricting taking alcohol into the circuit and I don't want to bring and lose a hip flask if it's likely to be confiscated or emptied. I'm also slightly wary about the cost of food and drink in the circuit bearing in mind it was already getting expensive in 2017!! |

Hi Gavin, been quite a few years but little has changed, glass inside the circuit is a no no for sure and you will be surprised by how clean the place is these days. Facilities are much improved and new fan zones have quite a choice of food and beverage but not cheap. Big fan zone at the stage end of your old campsitee See you next week

I’ve never quite understood the shuttle situation. I did get on it once last year when it stopped outside our Epinettes campsite and took us to the tram. Other than that I have no idea where to reliably get on it or know where it’s going.
Here’s a link I found to the shuttle schedule: https://assets.lemans.org/explorer/p...NDU0OS4wLjAuMA Questions then regarding that link and the information on it. Why so few shuttles on the Test Day on Sunday, but so many more on Tuesday which is just the autograph session, right? Where is Port Est and Parking Ouest? Where is Cormier? (I know where Karting is). I’d just like to get out to the Arnage/Indy viewing area for some of Test Day. Besides the shuttles or a long ass walk, are there other options? Is taking an Uber out there possible? Do they have Uber in France? Last edited by ATLFalconsFAN; 5 Jun 2024 at 04:15. |

Port Est is by the tram station, and is one of the shuttles interchanges, the other is now over by the Maison Blanche entrance (which I think is what they are calling 'Parking Ouest').
The shuttles are very good at getting you to the Arnage or Mulsanne zones. They won't be expecting many people for the test day so that's why there won't be the shuttles running, other than to get people from the tram to near the grandstands. The alternatives are walking or driving yourself. |

There is a Spotters Guide - it normally gets posted on PH. Andy Blackmore stopped doing it a few years ago.
Edit - posted today in fact. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/lwo1d...=lr8k8pf1&dl=0 |

Indeed. I must make the effort to get to the test day again. Especially as there now seems to be 'something' taking place every day from today until the end of the race.
I think Monday is the only day without anything official events. |
