Low angle is pretty good
And a certain race has Motul as the primary sponsor so maybe it gets reused later I missed they have 3 fancy liveries for the season so guessing Mosport and Petit Last edited by broadrun96; 7 May 2024 at 01:40. |

I still miss the full plaid, but it looks much better than their regular livery.

Race at Laguna this weekend will be the first one on the newly repaved circuit for IMSA. Looking for some possible record laptimes for the classes depending on weather.

Packing up and heading out to Laguna tomorrow. All weather forecasts I’ve seen have been beautiful. But yeah, can’t really predict the fog, although historically it’s becoming less frequent every year.

Nothing quite like a cup of coffee... and fog.

Some news before the race. Same as for Spa, BOP changes are very small. Quote:

IMO, lap times at Laguna Seca depend on how much of the dust bowl has been blown/carried onto the track.

Looking for Cadillac to turn the weekebd around. Boudais on poll hopefully can activate for a win.

Bourdais a bit sketchy through the Cork Screw on cold tires, but all good.
Nice first lap. |

Jeremy agreeing with John “true that”. I’m going to use that phrase from now on.
And the lap record is beaten with a 1’15.676 on lap 2. |

A reminder from John. See the remaining energy and some other stuff:
https://www.imsa.com/gtp-telemetry/ Although I think the remaining energy is rounded to 5%. FWIW Bourdais isn't just the quickest, but also the one that clicks down to the next 5% last. |

I just started watching, looking very good for the 01. Quite early stops for the 31 and #10.

I've been watching and the first hour had some easy traffic management but since that FCY the Protos have had to work hard to get through the GTs and still work on their own battles.
And that Marlboro McLaren is beautiful! |

Holy Crap, Tandy just went past the Proton Porsche and the 10 Acura like they were P3 cars!
