Sorry to be a pain but please can someone authoritative post a running update of the likely entries across the main categories from next year?
LMH/DH, GT3/D etc? |

I'm asking the same question as chunterer, but expanded to 2024 entries in all classes as well, just WEC/LM is fine. I said to friend that 2024 has potential to be better than 2023...just hope my knees hold out!

Yes Ferrari should also be present in the GT ranks. Aren't ORECA building their new car? Then there will be Porsche, Lambo, Merc, Chevy, Aston, Audi and the new cars from Ford, Lexus and whoever else? |

Other thing i'm not too clued up on. 2024 sees GT3 in WEC/LM, but ProAm, not works teams? Would that mean a factory backed GT3 team from say Mercedes, Bentley or McLaren could be eligible if the driver line up was right? |

Yes Oreca will be 296 gt3 tuner/manufacturer as michelotto will be more involved in hypercar program, and as far I was reading last summer news, ACO switched to gt3 cars encouraging a GT class targeted mainly to private teams, but here again the old question: A private teams full of work drivers and engineers is still a real private team?
So far BMW confirmed only a factory program in IMSA, considering they struggled a lot in WEC with M8 both on track and on politics rooms, I don't know how realistically they are considering a LM only program, on a factory effort at least. About Acura, MSR and WTR aren't financially backed by honda as far I know, guess to go or not to go at le mans it's up only to them. Forgot to write that according to some rumors, the multimatic+porsche lmdh platform will be available for private teams as well (according to their statements) and probably lamborghini will jump on the train by 2024. |

Well 2024 would be 100 years since their first win and good time to be hybrid before their all electric future in 2030, or the 27-20 wins but 100 years is a nice number.

Looks like no Ford involvement in LMDh, even as an engine supplier. But it will be cool to have official Mustangs running in GT3.

DSC had an interview with Larry Holt. Multimatic has been an incredibly busy organization the last few years.
Lots of Mustang info, with a little Porsche and Audi sprinkled in at the end. They have just built Audi's first chassis, while Porsche has been delivered more than one. https://www.dailysportscar.com/2022/...and-lmdhs.html |

Can't wait to see the Cadillac out on track, it will be a welcome addition to Le Mans

Yeah they already angered an entire fanbase. Could they do it all over again? Will only believe this when I see it on track, at a race.

Provided those cars are respecting LMH size limits, guess nothing would prevent AMR to homologate a LMH version of valkyrie or valhalla being both hybrid cars. |

Bit of a weird take from Watkins here, imo. Surely it was always assumed that IMSA and the WEC would have different names for their top class. What's new? |
