Sure didn’t seem like it..

An engine problem that has taken 2 meetings to get on top of, and doesn’t seem fixed even now has to be disappointing. You might argue for example that had the issue occurred on #15, it might be solved by now..

Supposedly a wiring issue. So while the #23 may have a new engine fitted, it seems the team neglected the task of a wiring loom replacement.

Fair enough, as usually a wiring loom is not a wear and tear component, right?

Will Supercars finally admit that selling the farm to Fox was a bad, bad long-term decision? 20 cars would be a shocking look for the category. Maybe Cocho was on the money yesterday.

I had wondered whether the pilot of #8, who has struggled to keep a sponsor on that car, might move to the fully sponsored Cooldrive #21, and one of the funded talents kicking tyres around the place, take a slot in the team in #8. It would have to ease the team’s horrible load of sponsorship sourcing on a round-by-round basis..

The thought was prompted by some decent steerers missing out on drives this year and next.

Caruso doesn't sound positive and neither has Holdsworth been too chirpy. Add to that Moffat and very nearly Davison. People may not be fanboys of all of these but there are worse drivers going around. Most of whom bring sponsorship.

Just trying to remember the last time a driver left/dropped out of the series and then returned. Anyone since Ambrose? Maybe Perkins & the other Davison but that didn't go so well.
