jellison has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

Is there an echo in here? Post #12 returns to haunt us? Perhaps this thread is done to death?

Yes you're echoing what you said further up the page.

The reason I posted the picture is that the number plate on the car serves as a means of identification (of car and owner).

Sorry, I apparently need a better set of eyes (and a better brain to move those eyes along) I kept looking at PAGE 12! :red face:

Just wait until I post a scan of an ad from 2001.
Can't imagine what a flogging I'll get for that.

Interesting to see Mongoose again,I remember Steve coming into the CMS workshop and asking if would be possible to modify the arches in order to fit bigger wheels.Pleased to report that the olg girl still survives in the ownership of one of the occasional posters on here.

If you knew how much money that car has cost over the years,I think you would agree that it IS a snip!;
Not many other Griff's can claim winning the Spa Six Hour either.

Thanks Terry, someone else clearly showing their ignorance! It's fantastic value, Simon G's is at Legends and up for about £95K

Just telling it like it is Mark.Dont really understand how anyone could ask that sort of figure for a car of the type,Legends obviously know what they are doing though!

Not sure about ignorance John? and as for snip HMM, looks more sectioned to me!! Perhaps some car builders actually know how wide griffiths should be, and also where the outriggers should sit, Oh and also what the difference is between an M series floorpan and a griffith one!!!

My old thing never seemed to have so much glass fibre at each side of the rear light clusters.

N.

Supposed ignorant car builder.

PS my comments were actualy in respect of the 10k drop that the car has experienced in the recent ads for sale? I well know its build costs.

I have already admitted the body mods to all four arches, body pan IS Griffith. The chassis IS Griff, standard length, outriggers are standard apart from the Cage Pick-up points but still conforming and NOT as the Griff 'Guru'!? has told someone that its different to what I have just said.

I would never profess to be a guru regarding any subject Terence. but like you my opinions regarding griffiths are borne from me building my own cars, not paying other people to build them for me!

Ignorance is a pretty strong word for anyone who doesn't know me to use.
