althou then you would have to alter turn 9, but it could work really well.

Jeez, I go away for 11 hours and you guys have come up with eleventy million versions of MTR3, which now looks nothing like the original that f1f posted..
Just goes to show how the time zone I'm in prevents me from being here at peak hours. |

Looks good, m39. I might have a go after the next million or so edits are posted. But then again, the last time I said that, MTR2 got finalized while I was asleep, so I'll be careful with this one..

This one is my favourite so far, and FW, I agree with you 100%, I post a circuit, come back, read throught god knows how many posts, and the final circuit looks and feels nothing like the original ... It's all good though, all in the name of progress... Damn Australia, why do I have to be 10 hours away from where all the action is?!?!?!...

Hmm... looks nice. The second, long-ish corner and the part after it, look a bit stretched compared to the relative compact second part of the track.

yer but i think it gives it a good mix of corners on the track, long streched corners, esses, sharp hairpins and long tight corners would be a nice track i think, but im still no happy with the current turn 8 and 9 but i dont know what to sugest.

Well, that's true, Mike, but I mean it's not very well proportioned. It feels a bit out of shape.

Is it just me or is this MTR going to be a lot shorter than the first two?

well i calculate we have 2 kilometres in the first bit, the straight is just under and the curved bit is about a kilometre, plus the rest of the track maybe about 4.5 kilometres ???? so i dont think it will be too much shorter. But how can we make it longer without adding longer straights or silly sections of the circuit.

MTR2 was 6.25, and I think MTR1 was a bit shorter, so according to your calculations, Mike, this would need to be ~1-1.5 km longer to be about the same as the last two.

As Lustig said, the LONG T2 looks a bit stretched compared to the rest... I'm gonna make an edit...

Alright, there was three issues to the "track of the moment" (The last on freak posted).
1) The long T2 was pretty boring. I tend to prefer kinks more than easy flat-out. 2) The track lacked a couple of esses. 3) It is still a tad too short and simple . I think we should all agree, that the straight before the snail should be large enough to have a club straight with pits? . So, heres v.R4 . |

thats gone TOO mickey mouse for me mate ........ no offence before it had a nice flow but it seems and you have got rid of the over taking opertunity at turn 8, and i personally perfered the long turn 2, but maybe we could make a comprimes as its OUR track ( i say ours as its everyones in this subjects).

This is the best I have seen. It has a nice rhythm, not to cluttered overall, a nice and tidy track.
