Only on lap 40 here, but it appears the booth didn't look at the timing at all. Keep saying Scott ain't far back but he came out 4.4 back and grew to 6.6 in 3 laps. But sounds like that's all gone soon

Oh yeah, the Helio car seems in PERFECT shape. Hit it with a big hammer and throw it over the fence and out of the way

And enough with the Herta ass kissing. He's quick but he CAN NOT manage tires, fuel or expectations. Every time he has had that great chance to make it from the rear of the field the team or he find a wall or stupid decision.

God the coverage crew has been terrible today. Are they paid less so doing less work for Peacock and not TV, only Hinch is paying any attention. Calling Rossi about to go 2 down holding up Palou and Lundgaard when they aren't the leaders

And when the Penske guys get it that wrong that Power was coasting in pit lane and Newgarden barely made it, Herta out on the last lap and had didn't make it much further, something is definitely different today than the book

And brought Graham up so both RLL drivers who weren't idiots made it Top 10

Penske managed to have 2 different strategies and get them both wrong.

I understand it's hard, but this IndyCar - not a little middle of no where series. Palou in the post-race interview said his team made awesome strategy calls and that's why he's leading the championship. I raise the idea that they made competent strategy calls, not awesome ones.

You won't win titles when you make strategy calls like McLaughlin and Power had today.

Sometimes teams get the strategy call right and sometimes they don't and apart from the 7 laps behind the SC, they were saying on IndyCar radio that the tyre deg on the green tyres was higher than expected.

I'm not too sure what's going on at Penske this year. However, Ganassi have certainly been making the right strategy calls so far this season.
