The Clash wasn't really at a good time for me here in Sweden but I did catch some highlights. Pretty decent, shame about the ending though.

Anyhow, really looking forward to the 500 on Sunday. Will help take the mind off the covid-crap and this insanely annoying cold front that's parked itself for weeks now right on top of where I live. Getting mighty tired of it.

As for the race, one thing I miss is a good hype-me-up intro or compilation. Doesn't matter if it's an official or unofficial video, just... something. Suggestions are appreciated. Preferrably something along the lines of the 2011 Bathurst 1000 intro. Gives me chills every time I watch it.

This speed sport article provides a somewhat clear shot of the brakes that were on the Prototype during the Charlotte Roval test back in November. Given it was a test on the roval circuit, it must be their circuit brakes package.

Currently watching the xfinity race and it's amazing how some aspects of the TV-coverage has gotten worse, way worse, compared to the 80's and 90's. For whatever reason a lot of the Fox camera operators have adopted the Wayne's World "EXTREEEMEEEE CLOSEUP!!!!1"-mentality, more so than in previous years - so much zooming going on, it's annoyng. Let us see what happens to more than three cars at a time, damnit!

I turned this demo derby on an hour ago with 27 laps left. Two crashes later, they have at least one more crash left in the them with 3 laps or so left

Nice race, but holy hell the producer is bad. Switching over to the in-car camera of Cindric before he's even across the finish line is just bad - any number of things could've happened among the top cars as they came to the line and we would've been stuck inside the #22 car. Here's hoping the TV production will be better during the Cup race.

What I would like to happen: Bubba Wallace Jr. winning the race, while both Logano and Dillon end up on their roofs. On fire. In the lake.

Well it at least looks like they have the weather for the race. So tune in a couple hours from now and don't waste your time until 25 to go. Don't worry, they'll take with breaks to get you caught up.

Apparently there's another cell coming in from the southwest, heading straight for the track. If it somehow misses they might get the race in tonight, but if it doesn't... Monday it is.

That cell is roughly the size of Connecticut so I'd expect the race to happen tomorrow.

I'm so confused. Fox said the race is postponed and ended their broadcast, but there's nothing on the NASCAR website and on twitter there are quite a few reporters etc live-tweeting the weather status.

I fully expect it to be postponed, but it'd be nice to get it confirmed from NASCAR themselves.

I would say welcome to Nascar but that seems mean. I've seen the broadcast guys decide things were over because they heard from a guy. If the series hasnt said it's done, it's not done. But then they needed to get to their big time pub'd lineup for this evening.

Sorry Offerman, I tried but your new series blows big ones. But hey, everything I watched had an ad for it premiering tonight

They're looking at restarting the race at 9pm ET (3am CET).

I just hope the Swedish broadcasters showing the race haven't gone to bed
