People keep on refer to the Audis and the Toyotas but they were in a completely different class and a few years apart.
The original R8(R) was "fairly useless" and so was the R8C, it was only later that the R8 (we know and some love) started to dominate, when they first came out they weren't a patch on the Mercedes, Toyotas and (it pains me to say) the BMWs. |
