Changes at Jacko Junior Racing have arrived...
After winning the season-opening round in 2008, Jacko Junior Racing has gone downhill, and therefore need a major adjustment to get their title hopes back on track. After winning the Daytona 500, Ryan Newman has been a disappointment the past few weeks, and will now be replaced by Greg Biffle, who has shown incredible form the past few weeks. Mark Martin / Aric Almirola have shown some potential but just don't fit in the team budget, they have been replaced with Brian Vickers who has cemented himself in the top-35 at the moment. Last of all, big things were expected of Casey Mears for Jacko Junior Racing, but after 5 very mediocre races, we had no choice but to sack him, replacing him with the excitement machine Kyle Busch. Due to Sam Hornish still being in the top-35 in owner points, he has survived another week. Therefore: Out: Ryan Newman 600,000 Casey Mears 500,000 Mark Martin / Aric Almirola 400,000 In: Kyle Busch 700,000 Greg Biffle 600,000 Brian Vickers 200,000 NEW TEAM LINE-UP: Kyle Busch $700,000 Greg Biffle $600,000 Brian Vickers $200,000 Sam Hornish Jr $200,000 TOTAL: $1.7 million These changes are to be effective immediately. BIG TIME OVERHAULS AT NISMO TEAM AM2
Nismo Team AM2 has decided rather than hoping 4 drivers could get enough points to make up for the lack of talent, they will be dropping 2 in exchange for one. Dave BLANEY is OUT. (+$500k to budget) Michael WALTRIP is OUT. (+$200k to budget) Clint BOWYER is IN. (-$700k to budget) And with the spare $100k, we might as well take Ken SCHRADER as well (-$100k to budget) New lineup: - J.P. Montoya ($500k) - M. Martin/A. Almirola ($400k) - C. Bowyer ($700k) - K. Schrader ($100k) Thank you. Thank you. Last edited by chemhead1; 20 Mar 2008 at 15:21. |

Goodbye Dario.
B.O.R.I.N.G has, quite frankly had no choice other than to fire this non-performer.. We welcome Mr Brian Vickers to the fold. That is all. |

Yes Franchitti, I confused myself then (again...) I'll check it out when I'm home. I'm considering allowing you to keep the points of my mistake, since you were making changes based on how your team was going (although it was easy to see Franchitti and Villeneuve weren't going well..). Will check out your results for this round too.

Certainly, you got in just before qualifying.
Talladega results will be up in a sec, couldn't get on the net until now. I've made sure to take note of some driver swaps such as Franchitti and Schrader. |

Since qualifying for Dover has already been completed, Nismo Team AM2 would like to make these following changes effective AFTER Dover:
Clint BOWYER is OUT (+$700k to budget) Ken SCHRADER is OUT (+$100k to budget) - doesn't even have a ride now :S With the $800k now freed up, we'll use it all for one: Dale EARNHARDT, Jr. is IN (-$800k to budget) New Lineup: - J.P. Montoya ($500k) - M. Martin/A. Almirola ($400k) - D. Earnhardt, Jr. ($800k) Brings us to the limit $1.7mil again. Thank you. Just btw, how many changes is that for me now? |
