I wonder if that'll be easier for Sébastien Loeb to run with the 908(and continuing WRC rally with the C4 of course)...and that gives more evidences to Auto-Hebdo magazine which stated Loeb would have more test in the Pug next year

And why not ..... Sarrazin has shown that a rally driver can easily do endurance .

Quesnel has confirmed that Loeb has permission to drive the 908 more frequently in 2009. Only in testing, not in races.

I think it's more a case of "endurance driver can easily do rally" actually

Change the "endurance driver" to "single-seater driver".

Btw, there are clashes with WRC events... Sebring (Cyprus rally) and Le Mans (Acropolis), Barcelona (Portugal) and Algarve (Finland) from LMS.

At least Barge was nearly always at the races. Was he team principal at the same time or something?

Could be cool!.
But if PSA does this, it will mean that either the WRC or Le Mans team gets the knife!, if not both!

Don't think so, at least at the 24H Le Mans Peugeot has some unfinished business to do with Audi... and already they have the new car in the shop.

PSA can't compete at top level in 3 different race categories!.
The money they would have to put in, is simply to much, especially for PSA, which future isn't so bright (according to a danish economic analyze, which says that the future lies in big companies which share the base for many cars).
But where did you hear, they have a new car under progress?

there is a rumour that PSA may merge with FIAT. if that occured then PSA running the hondas with ferrari motors wouldn't be much of a problem at all. FIAT are apparently quite eager to do the deal...

It would be more of an Buy out!. Don't think we will see a merge!, Fiat would be a dead weight around the leg.

Peugeot denies rumours

http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/headline...16081549.shtml

Relief. Even if this rumour would have been more serious (then again there are denials and "denials") this would have seriously sucked... WRC needs Citroen and LM needs Peugoet more than F1 needs new backmarker manufacturer.
