Looks like I got up at just the right time. Nice aggressive starts from Lotterer, Davidson, Lieb.

Why don't they upgrade the safety car to a GT3 car if it can't go fast enough for the cars to keep heat in tires? R8 Gt3 cars are a dime a dozen in this sport.

Though decision for the stewards there... Need to watch it again to have a better view of what happened.
Edit: the Porsche looked too slow and too wide giving room to his teamate.

You can say that again. The Toyotas are completely irrelevant this season. It makes me chuckle how I thought their was hope for them after Silverstone and Spa. I was way off the mark...

Christensen gets past Rigon for the GTE lead. I bet CTD is smiling right now, even as he sleeps!

Boring race so far. Fuji was much better at this stage of the race.
#7 went so wide I thought it was going to pit.

BTW, I am watching it on Eurosport and there are no ad breaks, how is that even possible?! Not that I'm complaining.

Cars spinning everywhere after the restart...

And why is there a 14-second gap between Jarvis and Lotterer, did I miss something? They were very close before the FCY.
