Well, all three are seemingly very tentative - the WTCC appears to be the most done-est deal!

May I steer this back onto the subject of the A1GP though please. Thanks! |

e-mail Mildred and ask if you are unsure whether you are on the list
mildred@brscc.co.uk With regard to camping you need to ask the BRSCC |

It will be located on the Airfield, that is the large open area behind Brands Hatch bounded by Scratchers Lane/A20. Entry will probably be via the dedicated entry of the A20. The site for Marshals will be fenced-off, provided with Toilets etc, and FREE. This site should give easier access to the Kentagon and the Circuit as it is within the curtilage of Brands. O'k Guys and Girls? |

Thanks for the info on camping. Would I be right in assuming that the campsite will be open from the thursday?

Camping
So I just bought me a little tent today so i don't have to sleep in the back of the car! Have been more of a regular at Combe now I've moved westcountry way so haven't spent much time with the old Brands crew and many won't really know me, but I'll be there fri & sat pm...somewhere...if people are feeling friendly!
Got a Silver BMW 318i Estate and small blue tent. Really looking forward to the event - I don't care about the lack of lunch breaks when there's a full programme with decent grids. See you there. Gary |

Though moving slightly off topic - that boot fair at the top of Wrotham Hill is causing more and more delays. Something NEEDS to be done so that cars ARE NOT charged at the entrance to the field - thus causing cars to queue on the road. A charge point NEEDS to be set up WITHIN the venue so that cars can queue off the public highway. If I can find out whether there is a boot fair on A1 weekend I will try to post here - maybe the ten-tenthers who are coming might want to get onto multimap.com and plot themselves a route through "the sticks" to avoid the Sunday morning carnage at Wrotham... I know I will be.

To Pip squeak 111 - Sorry, I must take you up on the CART meeting - took you 3 hours to get out?? I left about 7pm, and there was not a car on the road! I checked with the KCC control for Brands Hatch, and they said there had been no major problems and the traffic cleared quickly.
Anyway, to the present; as yet I do not know about the Boot Fair, but just in case; turn off the M25 straight onto the M20 coastbound to the next junction, and then turn back up the A20 to Brands Hatch. You can come into Scratchers Lane from the opposite end! O'k? |
