I wonder if Tingram blinking was sort of a hidden way to voice his dissatisfaction to this rules without him actually saying it

To be fair to Ash it won't have been intentional. however other drivers have been penalised for less in the past and colin was lucky he didn't go off further.
As for Chilton/ Hill, Chilton was nowhere near through Barcroft, I presume he was in the back of Hill through Sunny In to push him wide. |

There is still time for the Stewards to look at all that went on during Race 2, and an amended grid to be announced. However, to me, it looked as though Turkington didn't come off the brakes quickly enough whilst Sutton was ready to go, and it didn't seem to be a deliberate tap on the back of the BMW. |

Both incidents to be investigated before Knockhill... Appreciate they may be pushed for time but certainly in Chilton's case if he wins this race it a worthwhile price to pay for him.

I don't understand Tingram
he is ahead of both title rivals and he risks contact and possible DNF |

Decent enough days racing. As already said the tyre situation is poor and makes little to no sense.
Other than that good to see some different people at the sharp end throughout the day. The world is full of injustices and what ifs, try not to let them ruin the nice sunny weekend and some decent racing. |

Very silly that Chilton has won the race because he wasnt penalised for a move that was a clear penalty.

Great day of racing. Only thing I can really find to raise an eyebrow at (in terms of the title protagonists) is Sutton's little bump into Colin backside, but if he's got his eyes on Cammish - it might be understandable?
Hill was silly trying to defend from Chilton given the difference in tyres. Ingram and Turkington was a bit unfortunate for Colin, but IMO, I think it was just close racing? Would be harsh to dish out any penalties for that! Enjoyable to watch, whatever penalties do / do not arise! 4 weekends to go. You have to say that Ingram is favourite now, unless NAPA sort out Sutton's Focus v. quickly. Clearly he's not 100% in tune with his car - on a level playing field, I think Ash wins every time (but with Ingram a very close 2nd). Jake is still such a loose canon. On his day he can beat anyone, but he has too many not-his-days to win the championship. |

I didn’t watch the post race interviews, but did Chilton acknowledge the fact he was very fortunate to be in a position to get that win?

Sorry. I will never get over Onslow-Cole's 3 DNF's at Brands - after 27 consecutive finishes (or him having to pull over for Tom at Silverstone so that daddy's boy could win).
