Good news. I geuss now only the new 4 wheel drive set up could cause teething troubles.
My money is on the Toyota's this year. |

They had the 4wd on the Supra HVR which ran in 2007 with the predecesor of this capacitor. Then they tested 4wd in 2012 on the TS030 before the season. Probably still have some data to go on.

Alex Wurz also tweeted he was getting a seat fitting. I assume all drivers are going to be doing this in the coming days since theyll most likely will test next week.

I know that was a joke but doesn't seat fitting usually mean just creating the "mold" for the removable seat?
Edit: yes, something like that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGzoOUoCOlk |

No idea about that. But in Porsche's teasers, seat fitting was carried out during the construction of tub, pretty early phase of development.

Not a mold...
Single seater seats are normaly done with poliurethan, putting that into a big bag and letting it to expand around the driver. i don't know about sports car though. |

Wurz said he was getting a 'further fitting', which I take to mean that he's already had at least one done but obviously didn't like it.

TS030 has spare spaces for front wheel motors in sidepods but they later gave up that idea and shoved it away. So not really that different I doubt. Slimmer, higher, more 2012/13 F1-ish nose I guess.

It was my understanding that part of the change with the 2013 version of the car was removing the constraints on the design the trial of front and rear hybrid motors had imposed upon the 2012 car.

Seems like all the drivers are on their way or are arriving in Japan. Hope we get a treat! This should be a good read about Mike Conway http://www.toyotahybridracing.com/in-depth-mike-conway/ and some other questions here https://www.dailysportscar.com/?p=21520

Cockpit seems very bulbous.
With that kind of pics I can almost believe they might be actually hiding something and not just being late. |

Squint a bit and you can see some GT-One in that front end.
