I think a letter would be more effective than a petition. However, the more we bombard the FIA with our displeasure (within the bounds of the law and good manners) the better.

Yes I also think a letter is better, ive seen these online petitions descend into farces before. At least we have control over the letter.

this is what i would include with your bit if i was writing it...
The incident with ferrari between Michale Schumacher and Rubins Barrichello is a disgrace and has tainted the sport of formula 1 - the sport that the members of Ten-Tenths Motorsport have loved for so long. There is a consensus withe all Formula One fans that there is one set of rules for Ferrari and another set of rules for other teams! If the FIA has the interest of the sport at heart, they will prove this consensus wrong, they would punish Ferrari and put into place rules and regulations to stop this thing happening again. Until this happens the honesty, integrity and beauty of the sport will be tarnished in a way that will turn off even the most passionate supporters! Thank You! |

well, our letter pretty much says that; and after all as many people have pointed out, Ferrari is only the most recent and most blatant of the offenders. This isn't really about Ferrari in the long run -- it's about returning Formula One to a sport from what it is now.
