Yes, FA is a "Lame-Duck" driver. Renault have already had him not participate in testing due to "injury" - or is the "injury" deciding to go to McLaren?

The handy-dandy late-season mods are often harbingers of things to come next season. How much do they want him to learn before he goes? Very difficult position Renault are in because they failed to sign him up early.

Fisi is a head case. Period. How Flav could think this guy can be a team leader is beyond me. In fairness I believe he did as much as he could as a second driver in China, including moving politely over for the much faster FA.

Perhaps ""Deer in Headlights" is a better description, but FA looks almost shocked to be in the position he finds himself in - hence the "Dog" analogy.

Ferrari did a great bit of fooling around on the last couple of laps. Does anyone seriously believe, MS could not have gone quicker? They have been doing this slowdown for more than 1 or 2 races now, 4 or 5 years is more likely: when they know they are in the lead and can't be beaten, they simply slow down the pace and let the others catch up in order to preserve the engine and rest of the car.

Renault and Alonso certainly realize that, even though publicly they say otherwise. The 3s gap is not the real gap, neither is the comparison of lap times after the second stop. Therefore Alonso should look concerned after this race. He still has all options, but one thing he does not have: a dominant car.

He is finding Michael enthusing about his victory annoying and is getting bored with it! I like when he wipes imaginary crumbs of the desk. Fair enough. He is think let us go, it wasn't my win.

Look at Michael at 5:42. Bored city. All glazed over.

Michael could simply increase his pace just a little and win even without the wheelnut problem. Plus, once he caught Michael he also had to pass him, no?
Well, he lost 13 seconds due to the wheelnut and yes, he was 40 seconds behind, but this was at a time when the Bridgestones were the better of the 2 tyres, note Massa came through the field at this stage. The Michelins then became the better tyre and FA more than anyone pushed to the limit.

One thing i will say, Michael was lucky that it didn't rain 1 lap earlier at the end of the race otherwise he'd have lost it (the race i mean).

I think it might have needed more than a single lap - remember that Michael was crusing a little by the end. In any case, tehwheel nut incident cost Fernando the race, even if it wouldn't've been a problem if the tyre change had worked or had been unneccessary. Ultimately, if Fernando wore the tyres beyond what was neccessary, it's at least partially his fault that he didn't win.

It appears that the missing part of his Unibrow has now made an appearance under his bottom lip!

What was with the whole Captain Jack Sparrow beard pre-race?

Wow, everyone is an expert on the future now.

Can you please tell me what the result will be next round? It will be a nice little earner if you can tell me what will happen.

Lets use a bit of logic. If it rained more, why would FA be faster? They were BOTH on slicks!

I would expect the opposite to happen because FA will have to drive outside the racing line, which is damp and slippery, in order for overtake MS.
