Were you one of the lucky 'barstewards' who got a ticket for that concert?
20.000 tickets available, 20.000.000 people wanted one. Nice going! Bet you had a top night! |

Andrew, if you were at that concert I envy you enormously! (for that and all pre 2012 Le Mans experiences) |

So a whole day failing to get my password reset. Tried again this morning. No joy.
So rang the normal (not ticket) ACO line - get through, very efficient - tickets, tribunes, parking, all booked in 10 minutes and email pdf confirming straight away ... Now happy ! |

Haven't heard from Nadine yet in the worst case we won't have what we want, that might result in a no show for next year....

Me neither, and James neither too (different James than Bentley03, you know who I mean) or else he would be shouting about it on facebook, I guess.
I did specify a back-up campsite (Houx or Garage Vert as 3rd choice) so I'd be "allrightish" if I didn't get what I ordered, but for the moment, although getting nervous about it, I think no news is 'no bad news'. Fingers crossed! And not going at all is a bit severe, isn't it? Surely that cannot be? |

well Vincent, just like you I asked for Houx ( 2nd choice )or garage vert ( 3rd choice ) but I have just find oud through the booking site that all good campsites are sold out, only Beausejour and Blue nord & sud are still available.
That would leave us with the choice of trying to buy a TR ticket somewhere on the web or buy all tickets at a travel agancy But that way we would have to spend lots more. |

James has received an email telling him Tertre Rouge can not be done for him. Maybe after the 18th (when booking opens for non-ACO members). I have not received anything yet. But James' mail reminded me of the fact I only got my confirmation last year after the non-ACO booking had opened... Seems like Nadine is not the unlimited supply of tickets as GT6 is painting her out to be. I like the idea that when she has lots of work to do that looks good for her so she can hold on to her job, but if she is overwhelmed with ticket requests she can not fulfill, that doesn't look too good either!
Seriously re-considering my options for next year! 2015 I mean, the ticketboat for 2014 has already left port, with an unknown voyageplan for the moment |

I'm going to swallow the pain that my wallet is going to take, and if there's no good camping site available on the ACO website when ticket sales open for everyone, I'll book camping through an agency.

I investigated this route several years ago. Nadine only has a finite allocation of tickets from the ACO each year. Accordingly, quite naturally, she reserves what she has for existing customers (like Simon/GT6). It's only when those customers don't want to take up their usual allocation that Nadine has spare tickets for the premium sites. Vince -you could try phoning +3324343402424 which is the ACO main switchboard. Ask to speak to someone in the ticket office and explain your difficulties to her. You may get lucky, let's hope so. Alternatively wait until just before the end of the priority period and try again - last year the ACO put more premium site tickets on sale around then. |

I think I'll wait because my friend James has got notice his request could not be met. If mine could not be met too, I think I would have heard by now. Will check with her later on.
Thanks for explaining the allocation stuff. Good to know! |

Vince you should have faith, I am sure Nadine will come up with the tickets for you and hopefully for me, As KPY said she will have a certain amount of tickets for TR and in order to keep her regular clients she will give them first choice.
Anyway if I do get the four places I always request I may have a spare as numbers this year look like be down on 2013, Helen for one is likely to miss her first Le mans in 8 years due to teacher training, so who will ensure i don't get to drunk on Wednesday evening |

I will probably have some spare Maison Blanche Tickets available if anyone wants them.I Bought through an agency but happy to sell at that cost. Would prefer them to go to TT regulars at this stage.
This year I just booked the camping and entry tickets through the agency and I went onto the ACO site on Wednesday and bought the Grandstand tickets - which saved me a few pounds and worked well |

Bought a Tertre Rouge Ticket at Ticket+travel this evening.
If Nadine will manage to get our tickets we will have a spare ticket for Tertre Rouge. We will ty to sell it at expenses made for it. Now let's wait for Nadine... |

And I think we all should club in to encourage Helen to do the Friday night Eurostar down to Le Mans, be a nice glamorous escape from teacher training and let's face it, TR wouldn't be the same without her to keep Simon in line! |
