Photoshop? Thanks for the compliment, but my pc skills begin and end at typing with two fingers and the shotgun approach to punctuation

No, the 90 was persuaded up to a great vantage point with skill and a modicum of giving it the shoe, then it snowed like billy be damned, it was a bit tricky getting down at the end of the day

Belated thanks

Haven't been on here for ages and having just read the thread I felt I ought to express my thanks to everyone, on what was a very wet weekend.
Its been a few years since I was Stage Comander and I'd forgot how stressfull it could be, especially at Hillhouse on a double run simultainious 2 laper!!!!
Oh well, back to sanity and in stage on the Malcolm Wilson!

I'm glad we've educated some of the roundy roundy boys and shown them what real motorsports all about

Did someone mention the Oakleaf at Swynerton?????? thats just down the road I could just nip out for a paper and...........

That'll be it then Bakersboy! From a wet split on the NW Stages to instage wherever, you will never look back!

(Probably see you on Mull too! )

Just thought, I may even have to change my avatar at this rate!

Yeah, it was the wet split that did it - well it would wouldn't it? Although my first attempt at marshalling, back in the '70's, was on the Lombard RAC Rally at Trentham Gardens, so I'm coming home. We had lots of specialist equipment then - a whistle (to warn spectators of an approaching rally car - like you can't hear a Stratos at full chat!) and a paper armband (which had the powers of a magic amulet) to protect you. Happy days before health & safety.

Haha! Well in that case Im sure you are having a blast! Welcome back to that mad world of tree hugging and rock befriending! I've only really just discovered the delights of standing in the rain, or more importantly sitting in a car in the rain, in the forests of this fair Island and at least one other so far! Would love to do more rallies but they all seem too far away for one thing (Im sure I will be proven wrong but its my post!) an Im not yet ready to give up the roundy roundy stuff just yet!

Climb Dance

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-K1B...eature=related

One of the best bits of motorsport video I know, check the proximity to the drop at 3.50

Another favorite of mine, Tony Pond avaraging 100 mph on the TT course in a standard Rover Vitesse, I have the full video and its immense.

Wow that's amazing, I thought you meant an SD1 Vitesse which had some racing pedigree not an 800 which ate pedigree (chum).

Pond was another vastly underated English driver, we do seem good at putting them down.

2nd April is the Bulldog in wales Jon Cordrey needs help, not to mention Mr Briggs on the Malcolm wilson .....

Think we'll have to give the Oakleaf a miss though, we've just booked up to do the Sunseeker in Bournmouth!

Bulldog unfortunately clashes with a race meeting at Oulton and these days the nearer location wins due to fuel costs

Malcolm Wilson already on the calendar, especially as the December trip to grizedale was cancelled due to the snow, (startline duties beckon)

Weeton in April doesnt clash either (and it's my birthday)

BullDog etc

No probs Justin, I've had no complaints so it must have gone ok, which is no mean feat considering the set up, 30 second gaps, and double running!

Bulldogs good, I used to do ity when it was the Audisport! You better tell Jon not to put Fazza near the big drops else we won't get any cars to the end of the stage!

Give him a big winch and they'd get to the end of the stage, not sure what state they'd be in though!
