Just watched the first Duel, man that was intense...
Feel bad for Bliss and Ward, and Hylton almost had it, he seemed pretty happy to have just competed though. |

As usual the tv-listings aren't very accurate - the broadcast started at 8pm CET, rather than 8:30pm as previously advertised.

TVU running a tad jerky. Shame this is the only way of seeing it.
It may clean up though, fingers crossed. God I'm excited! |

It's working fine here, but I've got the luxury of being able to pump 1.3Mbit up to it.
There's a tiny tiny bit of sound crackle. |

It's better now, although the signal is running on half so a little nervous about that. Anyways, enough of my TV woes!

Yeah my signal is full. Just luck I guess.
Anyway, anyone else catch Darrel Waltrip's assertion that Nascar should just ignore cheaters since punishing them gives the impression that Nascar teams cheat? |

Live timing: http://racecast.nascar.com
So far TVU is running very smootly (fingers crost). For watching I use the online viewer (http://www.viidoo.com/en/index.php; Use IE, Firefox isn't working), I get the impression the stream is better using this viewer. |

I think I'll stay where I am
Thanks for the live timing link though, having 2 monitors on my PC has never seemed like such a good idea. |

I tried to do the timing for the Busch race yesterday, but even using the links posted I got lost in a sea of logos and links. That website is an absolute joke. It is vulgar in the extreme. It makes the old style look decidedly organised.

And the old website was already a nightmare.
I thought the race would start at 19:30h UK time. |

TVU a bit choppy for me but better than nothing at all - great little program. Never watched a Nextel cup race live before, really looking forward to it - no surprises that I'm cheering for #42! Hope it's a good 'un.

So, with the race approaching...
How long do you think #42 will last today? |

I hope he will finish this race. At the moment the position isn't important because of these DNF's.
