Reiter set up Sareni United to build and organise the Camaro GT3's and Yaco Racing are the first team to commit running the car.

Fastforward-Motorsport is a separate team in Belgium are also building a Camaro GT3. I have no idea where they plan on running it.

Hope that clears things up.

Thanks that does help indeed. So Sareni is just a part of Reiter but Yaco are actually the first team to race the car. And as for Fastforward-who knows how that'll go? Apparently the Sareni car has lapped comparatively to the Gallardo so thats promising. Would be nice to see one down here and with it being a relatively cheap GT3 and our love of muscle cars I can really see that happening.

The information of the FIA is that only fastforward-Motorsport is the autorized tuner for the Fia GT 3 Camaro and nowhere is mentioned Reiter/Sareni. see below link

Then one wonders why Reiter have gone through the motions of building their car if this is the case. I dont think we've heard the last of this concerning the 'paperwork'.

Maybe Reiter bought the rights from Fastforwarded?

There were two official builders of the Nissan 350Z GT4: Solution-F and RJN.
Currently RJN is the the sole builder of the 370Z GT4.

Reiter did not buy any rights...two different projects.

The homologation request as linked to here is for a Chevrolet Camaro 2010 SS V8. So anyone else could homologate a 2011 or 2012 version and/or a different version (LT and LS).

Yes that is the approval to homologate for Fast Forward, what about Reiter? Reiter are saying they have FIA homologation.

I'd like to see Reiter's papers too, maybe they are still in the homologation process? And are assuming no problems so just saying they have homologation as a mere formality?

SaReNi only claims that the FIA had approved the start for the homologation in October 2010. No word on actually getting it homologated yet ;-)

While that is true, don't forget that they have a new American owner. Who knows what funding they have available?

True that, I just don't expect a lot from them. They supposedly also did a deal with lotus for the technical bits and moved the production to the UK. Never heard anything about that again.

Chevron didn't have it in 2011, was raced in the GT Cup class, as they'll have a road car on show they'd have got the International homologation, we'll see

I read the Ginetta blurb and they say their car is eligible for various national level series but that would only be true if the buyer received permission in each country. A bit of semi false advertising to me.

Did some more digging.

LT and LS don't come with V8s, so has to be an SS version. Knowing that fastforward has applied for the homologation of a 2010 model Camaro...Reiter might have applied for the 2011 model at the end of 2010. Doubt they applied for a yet to be announced model (2012). If it's not the 2011 model but the 2010 model...then who was first.

On the other side we have Reiter claiming they went to the FIA for homologation. fastforward went through RACB/SRO.

There is more going on behind the screens at this very moment...
