I think you might take it a different way.
The number of big corporates on the cars has definitely fallen away
Certainly the ones with the motivation and largesse to have massive suites and the like, which is where the cash actually comes from for AVESCO at an event.
A $2k seat in a box, less cost of servicing, will have more margin that a $150 general admission pass.

V8Supercar should be actively chasing sponsors and team partners for their events, for their series, and also leading into their teams.

It might also have the upshot of eliminating the tail end Charlie’s when a team is funded enough outright to pick their pilot rather than have a black American Express card thrust upon them

As an aside.. I noticed Kylie Minogue was headlining an introduction to the Las Vegas F1 Grand Prix…

What has me wondering is whether the black wiggle might be available to bring some off track entertainment that is mainstream.. and may crank the participation rate of trackside visits.

You can’t keep recycling the same old brands and expect new experiences.

The opportunities are almost endless.. with the 80’s and 90’s bands getting back together, getting out there and touring all over the world.

Robbie Williams is in town right now. Simple Minds has been. Pet Shop Boys keep threatening to tour again. How about U2.. surely someone who knows how to market the big brands could be most useful at increasing attendances.. and profit..

Can we swing a slot on the undercard at the F1 Las Vegas event if they go back?
Circuit & surrounds has been manicured to within an inch of its life.

And V8Supercars knows all about manhole covers & grates.

No.Even if it wasn’t a colossal overreach by Supercars people to think anyone would be interested.
The track opening times in Las Vegas are highly regulated.It is not possible to have any support races.

For an alternate point of view I hate all the restrictions about Bathurst driver pairings.
Stopping the regular drivers pairing up,forcing the regular drivers to start the race and if they come up with others I would hate them too.Artificial entertainment rather than motor racing.
As far as any other enduros are concerned I couldn’t care less.
