After his first season (2014) with BMR he signed a 2 year deal before the end of that season, so it would keep him there for next season!

When asked on Facebook if we'd see him in the BTCC next year Richard Hawken replied: "I would say so". Wonder who it could be with...I still feel for him for the way he was shafted by SOP

Yeah I've seen him state somewhere 99% certain to be in next year! I'd like to see him get a fair chance. Which team? Probably one of the smaller outfits. Quite a few rumblings already and we are only a day into the off season

Interesting article on TCT about Jordan's 2016 plans. I'm surprised he only signed a one year deal with 888 but he's probably glad now. As has been mentioned I'm sure Motorbase would be a decent shout - decent car/engine package, title sponsor, top class touring car driver.

but how do we know he won't go to Eurotech in a brand new Civic Type R with full data sharing with Dynamics ?

essentially a full satellite team

Purely down to boredom I thought I'd do my best to predict a team and driver lineup out of the current crop. It might be interesting to see how right this proves on Media day. It's purely guesswork, so don't take anything too seriously.

Honda Yuasa Racing
Gordon Shedden
Matt Neal

Team BMR
Jason Plato
Colin Turkington
Aron Smith
Warren Scott

Motorbase Performance
Andrew Jordan
Mat Jackson
James Cole

WSR
Sam Tordoff
Rob Collard
Andy Priaulx/Dan Cammish

MG 888
Jack Goff
Tom Ingram

Cicely
Adam Morgan
Aiden Moffat

RAR
Rob Austin
Dave Newsham

AMD
Jake Hill
Mike Bushell

Houseman
He who shall not be named from Intermarque's

Handy
Simon Belcher
Richard Hawken

Speedworks
Tom Oliphant

Welch
Dan Welch

Eurotech
Martin Depper
Jeff Smith
Jack Clarke

HARD.
Andy Wilmot

Power Maxed
Josh Cook
Ash Sutton

And that's 31. No idea what I was thinking for some, just guesswork and moving drivers around. Others seem plausible. No idea if Cammish wants to enter Touring cars or follow the GT route - but who cares? It's silly season, and I've started the silliest post so far

Can we do a list of where we think Dave Newsham will be next year. He's never stayed at the same team for more than one season and I don't see that changing next year.

well so far I only made it with confirmed / announced

WIX already confirmed to continue with Cicely, both Honda teams already announced drives but Eurotech announced to run 3 cars , Rob Austin said they will be in 2016 but different car and no doubts he will drive himself Handy Motorsport announced to run 2 cars etc

we know 888, BMR, WSR and perhaps Motorbase will be on the grid but nothing from them regarding driver or car

To be honest that's the only reason I stuck him at RAR! It was between them, Houseman & Hard for the teams he could realistically drive for and hasn't already.

Hope he gets something sorted, a very capable driver.

Article on Touring Car Times about Andy Jordan - 14 days left on his 888 contract then he's looking about.

So, given links with Honda and Eurotech, Eurotech having the Type R and data share with Dynamics - so one of the best cars on the grid then - my money says Andy in the third Eurotech car.

Mr Plato was dead right when he said that MG wasn't going to get any better at end of last year. Maybe 888 need to develop a new motor?

Exciting times for Welch judging by this:

http://www.btcccrazy.co.uk/btcc/welc...gets-underway/

Hope they can get things sorted. Dan, Lucy, John (and Skylar!) are great with the fans and the Proton was certainly a very left field choice. Perhaps we'll see RAR and Welch combine...Dan and Rob are good friends after all...

I'd be more worried about what they're going to do engine-wise. Whatever happens, I hope Dan ends up in a car that helps him show how good of a driver he is.

It would have to be somewhere part subsidised, like he has been with Speedworks and AmD and Power Maxed.

It depends if that ride is part funded, could definitely be an option if it is. I hope for his sake that Dave can raise the budget to stay a second year at Power Maxed so he gets some continuity!

wouldn't it be really smart move to order some Civic Type R from team Dynamics ?

or perhaps RAR/ Welch can't afford it ?

Perhaps Welch will invest in a Focus? They have experience running an S2000 Focus in 2013, and Motorbase has had huge sucess with them this year.

What was the deal with the Team Parker Focus in the end? Was it a permanent deal for the car and TBL, or a loan of both, or what?
