Hmmm, would be good. But you say in jest I'm sure.

With Touring1 on a drawing board - and the race being at a circuit dear Jon doesn't own - not happening!

Maybe they could get Alesi in for a superstarring role, even though he's never driven a BTCC lap in his life.

Still reckon it'll be Huffy or something dapper like that.

ATF should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Yep that's the complete grid now then...

Sytner
Cleland
Gravett
Harvey
Tarquini
Biela
Menu
Plato
Radisich
Allam
Burt
Bailey
Cecotto
Watts
Neal
Reid

So how will they number the cars? I think they should let the drivers have the number which you most associate with them:

eg Tarquini 55, Biela 45, Neal 77 etc

Although I don't know what you'd have for people like Reid?

Who will it be ...excitemnet building.... Who will it be.....It's Cecotto.... ahhhh.... urrr..... ok.... top bloke and all that but touch of an anti-climax.
I wish him well though and I think it's a great grid. (shame it's missing half the peolpe I would have chosen)

Ceccoto, not too bad a choice, pity it was not more of a btcc reguler though.

Looking forward to this, but i am not sure if i will go to the race meeting, not with it being on motors tv, and the wheather is bound to be pants.

The other bit of news on the master for today is that Charlie Cox is going to be doing the commentary for both Motors and ITV highlights a week later.

Now I'm going to be at Donnington that day and I can't decided where to watch the race from its either the outside of Redgate or at Old Hairpin because where the 1st lap actions going to be......

i reckon menu will do well based on the fact the he won both of the porsche carrera races at oulton as the guest driver with ease, if he can take to a car that quickly and beat harvey who'd been drivin it all year, pure speed classy driver

It is, because it's an engagement that requires his presence somewhere else that day!

True, but Ceccotto was hardly a star in the British series was he, yet he is in there.
Although the rest of the line up top notch.
