According to Jiro Takahashi (Japanese motorsports journalist),
The cornering speed of the Degner curve of SF14 is 10 km/h quicker than the computer simulator of 2013 spec F1 car.
It is based on a certain driver who participated in a certain F1 team simulator. (Liuzzi?)

He got a bad start and people overtook him, then started raining and SC came out and in the chaos Caldarelli retired. Lotterer for some reason didn't pit for wet tires and lost the race.
