A good first session for the main drivers just completed.
1. GBR 2. China 3. USA (good effort by Jonathan Summerton) 4. Switzerland (right at the end, so Jani's keeping his cool) 5. Ireland 6. India (look out for Narain. He's a Brands specialist) 7. Netherlands 8. New Zealand 9. Portugal 10. France 11. Czech Republic 12. South Africa 13. Malaysia 14. Italy Those 14 were covered by less than a second, so it's kinda close. Australia and, I think, Indonesia ended up in the gravel and caused red flags. |

chine driver cheng congfu said before the race he was feeling confident to put in a good performance to make all chinese proud, especially ahead of the olympics this year. cheng knows BH and when we see such divine representations of the innermost self i feel deeply moved and honorred. but not very good yesterday

The best we'll get in the UK is Live Timing from the A1GP website, plus live coverage on Sky Sports if you are lucky enough to have it.

Well there's a new official A1GP time watch supplier Strider. That's about it really, so far.

I have had a disaster (satellite TV at home is out and bars are all showing football), just read that NZL are only 16th for the feature. What happened?

He was at the wrong side of traffic during his flying lap... that is what you get if you wait till the end.. at one time, it will bite you in the rear.

Way to go Summerton!
I knew he would be strong here, he's raced Brands before. We need better coverage of A1GP here now that America is finally getting some success in the series. I hope Summerton returns this winter unless he gets snapped up by somebody, without seeing the cars all winter at Long Beach he qualified 3rd in Atlantics... |

Well Kerr won the sprint race having led from the start, and Ireland were 3rd. Switzerland finished fourth and so took the title - shame it couldn't have been decided in the final race this afternoon! Result was GBR, USA, Ireland, Switzerland, India, Portugal.

Neel looks like he drove a smart race. Made sure he wrapped up the title at the sprint. Good job Swiss team.

well surely if you're about to watch it on Sky you wouldn't come online and read the thread about the event.......??? I know what I would do....!
I'm not sure how the points system works, can GBR still get 2nd overall in the championship? |

Does live streaming from the A1GP website not work in the UK? Not working here, had just presumed it would [or does it not as Sky have broadcasting rights?].
