Well looking forward to my last visit to racing this year. Brands is always exciting and lets hope it will not be as cold as 2 years ago, when by the time the last race started i was freezing. Suspect i will be sitting at druids as usual on sunday, but moving around more on saturday.

The irony of having the BTTC and it's support series shown on ITV, where you won't see all the races over a weekend, is that you can actually watch all of the races from other series, such as British GT, TCR or GT Cup live on Youtube.

The reality is that while you can, virtually nobody does. Those series will get tiny audiences in comparison.

How convenient that Moffat qualifies between Sutton and Turks.

Turks has never gone well at Brands GP. I think there was that one race maybe 4-5 years ago when he steamrollered the field in the old 1series, but that’s been a rarity. I guess the BMW package just never suits Brands or it it ever does it’s on a knife edge setup wise.

You make it sound as if you believe that it was deliberate, which I think would be almost impossible to achieve. And even so, I am pretty sure that Moffat, although probably not making it easy for Turkington, will not deliberately impede him. |

Oh no there’s pretty much no way it could be deliberate. I was just touching on how ironic it was , and how perfect it fell for Sutton.

Brilliant lap by Proctor, even if it means one less point to Cook. Rowbo could have been on pole had it not been for Edwards’ cheeky tactics, which Dan took quite well. Sutton looking good, but Turkington gave it has all there. Nice to see Sonic in the top 10
Congrats to Colin for winning the Wingfoot Award two years running |

Turks is in a good position to get the runner up spot (again) with his main rivals behind him (Tingram and Hill)

Something clearly needs to be done about the Hondas.
Four Hondas in the front two rows is not good for the sport. We need to see more variety for the fans' sake. Otherwise, it's just a one-make series...... |

Are you being ironic? It's not like they've dominated every meeting. If it's a sign of things to come though then you could be right.

I think he clearly is being ironic. Taking the mick out of people who claimed Sutton’s so called ‘dominance’ is ruining the series |

Interestingly, the Hondas locked out the first five places here in 2018 as well, when Brett Smith took that pole position. I had never really thought of Brands Hatch as a Honda track, but actually since 2018 it does seem to have been the strongest car.
Finals day is always special, particularly as we are back on the Grand Prix circuit at Brands Hatch. From sixth on the grid, Ash Sutton really does just need to keep it clean, but I wonder if we might have a similar scenario to 2017, with Turkington struggling behind Sutton in race one, then pulling off the best drive of his career to win race two and just keep the championship alive by a few points (he will be further away this time), but then the final race being comparatively anti-climatic and Sutton taking it fairly easily. I think it is more likely that Sutton will wrap up the title in race two, and then take a brilliant win in race three when the pressure is off. I also suspect Ingram and Hill will jump Turkington in the final standings. And from tenth on the grid, it would be great if Tom Chilton could win the final race of this horrible season that he's had. |

It appears Andy Wilmot will be starting race 1 despite not taking part in qualifying.
