Really enjoyed that tribute to Murray on ITV4, really great memories of him commentating on the series

Not sure what the commentators were watching, that was clearly contact on the rear of Sutton at T1
Turks should cop a penalty for that Race rustyness all through the coverage it seems, no good external angles of the crash with Sheds either..... |

The grid in motion looks as bad as I feared. Good luck to the commentators this year!

Well, as an Ingram and Cook fan that podium will do nicely!

Looks like Plato should've stayed in bed
Stuck behind Butcher all race, only places he made up were due to the first lap crash, and his one attempt to overtake Rory, he ended up losing both of them a place to Cammish The results didn't exactly live up to all the fawning over him ITV did before the race |

it's a problem wth this circuit and TOCA mandating too low 6th gear, it makes it impossible to slipstream past somebody

feel a bit sorry for smiley, but i'm definitely thinking that cook might be underrated this season. will be interesting to see how he goes fully ballasted up in race two. i also reiterate my question asking whether he and ingram are far better than we give them credit for... |

Have to say, what a refreshing change it is to open the season at Thruxton, where all races so far have put on brilliant, slipstreaming duels, than the usually tight, twisty and unpassable Brands Hatch where nothing usually happens due to the design of the circuit until tempers or frustrations flare and you end up with a big crash
Lets do this every year please! |

Two season openers in a row sees Turkington spin Sutton, only this time nobody was pushing Turkingon...
...to be honest, as much as I feel Turkington was too busy watching Cook to watch Sutton, I do feel his "squeaky clean" reputation is just daft. Ask Aiden Moffat... |
