Didn't that Laguna appear last season? I know there were plans to bring it over but I can't recall if anything actually came of it?

Ive just viewed some FS launch photos on the 'Redshoes Archive' website, its looking good for 2003. The 'Broadie' Sapphire Cosworth looks awesome, along with the Supertourers.
Roll on Silverstone! |

The other Laguna is raced by a guy called Ken McRae in Canada. He seems a real nice guy. He has been helpful in providing me with info on my 97 car. However the Williams cars are very different from year to year. He hoped to come over last year but he has said is looking to come this year. I presume it's a bit tricky getting your car over from Canada. I think he has to race in a mixed series were he is in with an assortment of cars including Gt's.

Yeah, unfortunately the series Ken McRae is racing in Canada has collapsed. There are efforts to start up a replacement series. Yeah, it's too bad there aren't more ST cars around in Canada. I don't know what happened to it, but a pair of brothers (Jonak) in Canada did have a '94 French ST BMW I believe? They raced it at only one round of the '97 NATCC. They are based in Ontario, same place Ken is based.

Has the FS website been updated yet? Have you guys considered adding a results archive section to it?

we'll see what we can do for you! but don't expect it straight away as it's going to take a fair bit of hunting thru the archives for all results. |

Caught the 1st FS round at Silverstone
Superb race, action from start to finish! Great dice for 3rd spot between 5 supertoueres and the Omega V8. The best race of the day easily, shame i won't be able to make many more this season. OH WELL! Can the Holden be matched? |

It's a shame only 5 ST cars made it out. What were the cars?

no 13 supertourers made it out to play, two of which were in Class C, 3xV8's and 2 turbo cars in Class A.
It was a great race with words just about failing to describe how good the race was. |

So what this proves is Super Touring is succesful minus a few big budget manufacturer teams. Good stuff!

try the website! www.formulasaloons.com. It looks like the Holden has competition at last in the shape of Andy Chesters Chevy z28 Camaro who broke Ric's Class A lap record at Pembrey on Saturday with a 59.009 lap. That car is stunning. |

Yeah, I visit the website every so often. But I was hoping that some news or unofficial discussions might make it here faster than on the website. And in the past, they sometimes have! =)

I had a look at the website yesterday. Some up to date pics/reports would be nice, and the menu buttons that change when you hover over them are confusing. I clicked "cars" thinking it would give me a run-down of what's racing this year, but didn't notice the "for sale" change until I'd clicked.

The Croft timetable should be on the BARC website, under event timetables.

Anyone else see the Formula Saloon Car race at Croft on Sunday? It was truley breathtaking, Ric Wood was superb in the Calibre in keeping so many cars at bay. I have just visited the FS web site, they have had 4 different winners and 4 different pole sitters in 5 races, and there are now 6 drivers seperated by 5 points. This has to be one of the most competeive championships in the counrty. Roll on Snetterton in July.

I think the FS guys should post updated pictures of their cars in the gallery. It would be nice to have a picture of each car.

kmchow, we are working on it, as the drivers are not very forthcoming with pictures we are having to gather them ourselves a bit at a time.
