Bad shirts, bad studio decor, bad material, bad knowledge.
It's great once it gets to the race though. |

Sky are doing a pretty good job in my opinion, last night they stayed with the coverage all through the night until nascar officially postponed it. Then today there showing the continuation of the race. Good job sky

1/2 to 7/8 mile are short tracks. 1/4mile is a goldfish bowl in comparison. No disrespect to you guys at Warneton, but you can't get 43 cars on a 1/4mile oval. It's a big enough feat to do it on a 1/2mile bullring. What we need is a 5/8mile high bank oval (that's a metric 1km!) Rob. |

Now you see why the status quo/FIA don't want NASCAR in Europe! Did you see the re-run of the race tonight - with John Mickel supporting Keith in the studio. Nice to see the ol' boy on the box. Hopefully it'll help his sponsorship progress to get his CTS team back up and running. Last week they were fielding questions emailed to them, or off their forum. This week, the forum was off. And I had loads of questions for John (how's the gout.....) Rob. |

Yes, it was the re-run of the race that was red-flagged yesterday after about 70odd laps due to rain.
I suppose I should have said the "rain-delayed re-start" rather than re-run. Poor choice of words. |

Also, good to hear we'll have Mickel doing a one-off in the CTS at least.
Pretty good coverage last night I have to say and hopefully it will carry through to the IRL coverage. |

I think we should bow down to Sky.
Showing the restart on Monday proves they are committed. Well done chaps. |

The issue with the American coverage is that they have a lot more ad breaks than we do. When they go to a caution, they'll throw in an ad break - a long one, and that leaves us looking at the track for quite a while with no commentary. Que - Keef and Ben (or John). It's about filling in the gaps, not replacing the US commentary. You ain't gonna git no betta' than them thar good ol' boys!!
The Pfizer comment - yep. Have a stiff drink before you go to bed.... |

Easy-Edit Speed/ESPN pre race programme to fill in US ad breaks with the odd British bit thrown in.Probably cheaper than what they do now

A great shame.
His charisma, enthusiasm and sheer awe inspiring presence is missed in the studio breaks. |
