Hugewally should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Watching the replay again, when the hit actually occurs, TK's car has the rear end shift more to the left than the front end did. That would make it even harder for him to make the left turn as the rear of his car is pointed to the right. Also when he is pushed to the left, his car is now going over the rumble strips which upsets the car even more.

Turn 10 replay

Ryan was at fault, little doubt, you can't just turn in. TK was struggling to pull the car up though.

After watching the clip Hugewally put up (BTW thanks), I think it's only fair that I tone down my critism of Kannan. I still think he shouldn't have made the move there, but Briscoe had a decent chance to give the position to Kannan.

Nice analysis on the Paddock website this morning ...

http://www.paddocktalk.com/news/html...rder=0&thold=0

Personally I think Ryan had the racing line and I wanted to punch Tony for his risky moves. I do wish though that he'd have checked his mirrors since he knew Tony was so darn close!

Would have been nice to see a rookie make it to the podium, though I doubt he'd have won it.

MickAU has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
but he wasn't that darn close....Kanaan came from 2 car lengths back. Briscoe shouldve hit the anchors and waited for Kanaan to career into the wall, however there wouldnt be a guarantee that he'd get away scot free then either. Oh well, it's just gonna be another one of those incidents that goes down in folklore and will be debated for years to come!

You don't get this sort of discussion from oval races eh!

Unfortunately 'the paddock' has it wrong on who is at fault.... Briscoe.

Here's some pics from my friend... Robin Thompson St Pete IRL
The sequence starts on page 13.

I was thinking exactly the same the other day, and I think it's great how much activity not only the incident between Kanaan and Briscoe, but the race in general, has sparked here

While it's a great series of pics - talk about being in the right place! - it really starts a few seconds too late to make any difference in the ongoing debate, since Briscoe has already started to turn in when the sequence starts.
