Well,I think he was highly impressive during the 1999 season while he was with Jordan.

He finished third in the drivers championship and scored two wins,one in France and the other in Italy.

He trounced team mate Damon Hill in qualifying by a 14-2 margin,and seeing as Damon had already been with the team for a year, I'd say that was a good showing,wouldn't you?It was true that Damon's motivation was in question,nevertheless,his dominance of Hill was impressive.

I would take Frentzen over Massa in an instant.
